Question about clone troopers

In the SW episode III trailer it shows Storm Troopers rather then the Cloned troopers - I dont think the movies cover this - what does the expanded universe have to say about this?

The Clonetrooper-suit slowly evolve into Stormtrooper-suits. The suits in ROTS are intermediary designs. The troopers in ROTS are still clones, they just keep getting more sources.

This lends more credence to the fact that most Stormtrooper troopers and noncoms of the OT were clones, while the officers were trained recruits (RotS VD supports this as well).
