What if for some reason (some crazy guy got a suncrusher or a military action with a death star) or anything and destroyed Coruscant? What kind of reprucussions do you suppose would come out of that happening? Would it affect the rest of the galaxy? Economically? Morally?

The planet was still intact. The YV only changed it's orbit and seeded the surface with Vonglife. I think tumbletom meant total annihilation of the planet itself (like Alderaan)....

During most of the 1st Republic era, it's an unmitigated disaster. You'd lose the Senate, the central bureaucracy, and the majority of the Jedi order in one stroke. Frankly, the Republic is not very stable despite its longevitiy. Take away the Jedi and it falls to pieces, just like the 2nd Republic did.

During the Imperial era, if Palpatine is there, it might actually be less destructive than the death of Palpatine was in the real timeline. Palpatine dies, but so do all the ministers, grand admirals, and moffs who fuelled the Imperial Civil War. Of course the empire still falls apart, and again, the loss of the central bureaucracy will be catastrophic.

During the 2nd Republic...well, frankly, wiping out the 2nd Republic's leaders would probably improve things.
