now i havent watched the series with the hyperspace version commentary but i watched the one with the director commentary

it seems to me that this guy only watched part of ROTJ, part of TPM and part of AOTC

multiple times he gets confused on what a blockade runner, the refugee ship that Padme and Anakin took and the Republic Cruiser

he makes no mentioned to the scene that Anakin follows Asajj to Yavin and that the scene is the same scene in ANH, and he seems to not even know that planet "his" huge fight scene takes place on. He dosent know that the Massassi are the builders and such

i dont know but i think Lucas picked the wrong person to make the clone wars. I would have put Matt Groening but thats just me, it seems that Homer Simpson knows more about Star Wars than the Clone Wars director

yes good ol comic book guy

no but seriously this director for the Clone Wars cartoon really knows nothing about starwars, for anybody who has this DVD please, if you watch it you'll get 1 or 2 things out of it, youd either 1) hate Star Wars or 2) hate this director

i came out with 2, the DVD is much more enjoyable if you watch it without any commentary

i actually hope the director of this DVD is a member of this board, maby he'll learn that Captain Kirk is not in Star Wars

Well I'll say this. If you asked your average fan of the movies about the Massassi temple, they wouldn't have a damn clue. My moms seen Star wars many times with me and likes the movie, and cant remember a single name of a planet except Tatooine. Genndy Tartakofsky (thats who I assume your talking about) takes me as a guy who was a fan of the films growing up, and probably not a die hard fan, which in my opinion is better. If you get the super die hard empire stikes back underware wearing guy calling the shots, your gonna get a show focused on making sure that the engines on the LAAT go "hum hum hum" instead of "humhumhumhumhum" because of course its proposterous for it to be any other way. My point is I don't think its nessessary to know every minute detail of a work to be a fan, or to get the job done. I think Genndy has a pretty good track record with his shows and I'm glad he got picked to do the show.

Well that explains all the problems from Clone Wars chapter 23, as there seems to be no shields in the entire episode.

No planetary shields, no fighter shields (Mace Windu jumps from fighter to fighter and slices them with his saber), no Droideka shields, and none of the capital ships had any shields...

Well, to be fair the Vulture droids don't have any shields if I remember right.

He jumped on the standard TradeFed droids from TPM, AND Yoda destroyed those small fighters by tossing Droidekas (shieldless) at them.

I'm not sure which the Vulture is, but neither had shields.

He jumped on the standard TradeFed droids from TPM,
That is a Vulture Droid.
