If you had your choice, which SW character would you have run the US?

THRAWN! 8)
We would rule the world in three months and step up both the space-program and the arts as well!(Plus I can see him insituting a minium IQ requirment to serve in the Goverment, thusly weeding out roughly 1/3 of our goverment

Let me think:

Palpatine would insist on a central government that depends on him. If he goes, the rest of the government would split, like what happened after the Battle of Endor.

Any rebel would go on to form a NR-like government, which has proved dysfunctional during the YV invasion.

I'd go with Thrawn.

Wedge. He doesn't want power, which means he's the one least likely to abuse it.

For anything else, though...Thrawn.

Thrawn, he was smart and cared about his men. He was sharp and actually understand government and politics. Plus unlike most Imps he wouldn't abuse his power. And like most the Rebs squander the power in stupid infighting.

Okay, so he's a great military leader, but would he care about his citizens as a whole?

Leia, an idealist, and she cares about her people, and would try to bring peace around to our quasi-shattered planet, if it all goes wrong we can easily blame her :D :D :D , she still looks hot in with grey hair and approching her early-50's :D :D :D

Actually he probably could. He's a natural leader in more than just the miltary. He'd take care of them and sheperd them for the greater good. Thrawn believed in the ideals of the Empire rather than being power hungry. I'd wager he'd make a good leader overall.

Or would he turn everyone into military people? Just a thought...I dunno much about Thrawn.

No, he's got more brains than to try to turn everyone into a soldier.

Yes, it has been proven that those who least want to rule are those who are best suited to do so. That's why Zaphod was elected as president.
