The new one that they made when they remade ESB and ROTJ was no where near as good as the old one. I don't care if they were trying make it sound like the clone of his father it still sounded like crocodile dundee. you start to expect them to say things like "He's no use to me dead mate" I know It worked well in attack of the clones it made seperation between the two.
What do you think?

For the record, Fett in RotJ remained the same.

I prefered the original.

I prefer the new one. While the old one is slightly more assertive, its nasalness is a bit annoying. It's mostly to do with growing up with the prequels that makes the newer one appeal to me, however.

I liked how Fett sounded in the old movies. It sounded like he'd been fucked up, a lot, throughout his life. That he didn't get the title "ultimate badass" just for disintegrating a couple fuckers. That he had to start at the bottom as a pussy little wanker, like everyone else.

The new voice makes him sound like he's a nancy-boy under the helmet. Like he didn't EARN his badassery, it was handed to him. I don't like that. Even if he were a clone, a life of beatings, fights, broken bones, harsh smoke and battlefields, and all other sorts of things would lead to, y'know, differences.

Quite frankly I can't tell the difference.

That's probably the best reason I've heard for why I liked the original voice over the remade one. I completely concur.

I don't really care either way. Jason Wingreen's original voice was menacing, but there were only a few lines, and Temeura Morrison's voice is good as well.

Temeura Morrison's voice fits the character, but he pacing and timing are off, so he sound too much like Jango.

Morrison's voice makes sense to be there, but the timing is all off, he puts the stresses wrong and everything. Had he read the lines in exactly the same way as before, it would have probably been better (I'll sacrifice some cool gravelly voice in Boba Fett for continuity), but as it was, it made me cringe when I first watched the DVD.

The accent doesn't make any sense. I'm from NZ too: I lost my accent in six months. GL is just a dumbass.

You mean the voice from Boba Fett: The Jedi Hunter wasn't the real one?

"By crikey, she's a lovely little sheila, she's fighting for her life! Putting on quite a show, thinks i'm trying to kill her...heh and she's right."

Ha! It all makes sense now! Fett's not a badass... he's just a bitter old sourpuss, a washed-up drunk that's still mad his career went in the shitter after he accidentally fed his infant son to a Rancor...
