Where else would he go with marching Clone Troopers, wearing all black and looking like he is in dire need of eye drops?StarWarsJunkie89 wrote:That was pretty cool. Esp liked Anakin going to the Jedi Temple (I presume) with the clone troopers.
Stravo wrote:Jesus Christ that was horrible - The Obi Wan Anakin surfing on Lava while dueling. It just looked bad, awful, and cringeworthy. Let's hope that's just a small foregttable part of the duel. UGH. First time I can honestly say there's something about this movie that I've seen that I hate.
It is. It's definitely squared off, by no means a piece of stone or cooled lava or anything like that. I don't think they'll be on that for long anyway, as it's way too small to do much fighting on...Sephirius wrote:Stravo wrote:Jesus Christ that was horrible - The Obi Wan Anakin surfing on Lava while dueling. actually, it's not surfing really, I see a control console on it, so it looks like it's a repulsorlift platform on the lava.
Ditto, It doesn't matter WHAT Thier 'surfing' on the fact is they are both crusing down a Lava River and 'surfing'Aquatain wrote:Still looks very silly..
Spoilers away Correct. They're not on it for long. Obi wan jumps to one of these supply platforms to escape a mineral extraction centre that drifts over a cliff in the lava flow thanks to the fight, lowers his guard, and Vader drops out of the air above him from another, smaller droid. They fight for a few moments before Vader's defeat.VT-16 wrote:I heard someone say it´s a worker-droid and they landed on it, pushing it further into the lava. (In other words, it was never meant to get THAT close.)
Whats wrong with it? Jedi can do almost anything and its clearly not a natural piece of rock.Crossroads Inc. wrote:Bad Parts? Ani and Obi 'Surfing' on the Lava

We do see Anakin slicing open the torso's of what I believe are some of the neimodians. 1 for 1--sorta.Mike Wong wrote:Non-fatal casualties. In Star Wars, no one ever suffers any serious injury in battle. No arms or legs blown off. Nobody laying on the ground screaming in agony with his guts flayed open. Every combatant is either unscathed, knocked unconscious without injury, or killed instantly. Now, I recognize that Star Wars is not a gorefest, but it would be nice to see soldiers suffering some kind of injury, as opposed to either being untouched or dead.
Havent' been able to verify yet. 1 for 2Clone troopers (who just acted like better-equipped droids in AOTC) demonstrating that they are human by doing characteristically human things such as flinching in the face of enemy fire, looking for cover, hitting the dirt when enemy fire comes in, dragging wounded comrades to safety, etc. There is a limit to how sterile a war should be, even in a popcorn movie.
It seems implied that Mace will be killed by Sideous when the Jedi attempt to arrest him. But this is unconfirmed yet. But there has been no mention of Boba anywhere that I've seen. So probably no go on this one. 1 for 33. Boba Fett's revenge. Actor Samuel Jackson has said that he wants his character Mace Windu to die a memorable death in Episode 3. I think that his death should come at the hands of Boba Fett. Picture this: Mace Windu fights off a horde of attackers. He is victorious, but he senses danger and looks skyward, only to see Slave 1 racing towards him. Boba Fett, who can barely reach the controls, looses a seismic charge and then veers off. Windu's expression changes to one of fatalistic resignation as the seismic charge hurtles to ground, and the next thing you see is Slave 1 flying away from the titanic blast. Inside the ship, Boba whispers "got him, Dad". And the circle is closed.
Well, it does appear there will be a big space battle over Coruscant. Whether it is the "mother of all space battles" is yet to be determined but I'll pass it off for now. 2 for 4The mother of all space battles. It's the last Star Wars movie that will ever be made, and I want to see some war among the stars! I want to see warships filling the screen with destruction, and fighters swarming like bees wherever you look.
Anakin certainly looks evil and cruel in some scenes and we DO see the full Vader Armor, complete with James Earl Jones doing voice. 3 for 5Darth Vader. I will be very disappointed if we don't see Anakin in the full Darth Vader armour at some point, acting the way we remember him from ANH. Not just bratty, or selfish, or vengeful, or even psychotic, but cold, ruthless, methodical, and evil.
Haven't seen any ISD or the Executor yet. The Jedi starfighters seem to be evolving into TIEs but little else. 3 for 6The mighty Executor, along with star destroyers, TIE fighters, and other vessels which will stylistically join the prequels to the original trilogy.
We do see bombardment but the range doesn't seem to be 'orbital' 3 for 7Orbital bombardment. The ability was mentioned but stymied in TESB by the defensive shield, and it was ruled out for unknown reasons in AOTC. I find this frustrating, and I want to see it! However, I have a feeling we won't.
The clone trooper uniforms are more like stormtroopers but I don't recall seeing any other imperial officers. We do know that Tarkin puts in an appearance though. 4 for 8The command apparatus of the Imperial Navy. By that, I mean the black-suited officer corps, the green-suited admirals, and the Moffs, including Grand Moff Tarkin.
I've heard he has always looked disfigured and he delibrately uses the force to make him look the way we se him in TPM and AOTC. Or has this been struck down as "fan speculation"?Crossroads Inc. wrote:So it would Seem... I am curious weather on not the general Senate is able to see his face after he is 'Disfigured' during the movie...
