What would it take to kill a Sith Lord?

Assume that you wanted to kill a Sith Lord but you had no Force users on your side, the Sith Lord KNEW you were coming after him, and you were prevented from using big ass weaponary that would just blow everything (and him hopefully) to hell.
Assume he's in a small village on a forest planet. What type of army would it it take to take him down?

How do you think a large droid army could do?
Perhaps a lot of vehicles would be pretty effective.

Ten thousand droidekas...
Huge number of Imperial War Droids.
Huge number of Dark Troopers (Technically these be force users though).
A large number of Mandalorian supercommandos maybe.
And maybe General Grievous.

Either...
A Space Marine Chapter, with some high ranking Librarians and conscripted Psykers.
An Arisian who could mind blast a Sith probably just as fast as any other high powered psionic. Being rather swiftly.

Either a lot of allies to throw at said sith lord if he or she knowns already that I'm coming for him that probaly rules out an ambush and I can't any heavy weaponary, so just overwhelm him/her with a shit load of attackers (preferbly droid attackers).
Or then use that creature (what ever it was called) that prevent Force use and take small team of highly trained trooper and just blast the ell out of him.

I think it's meant to be using in universe forces. Otherwise I call dibs on a C'tan.

Whats with the huge number of any of the higher end droids? A pair of Driodekas had Obi wan and Qui Gon in a Mexican standoff, a few more standing around and pouring fire in there and tghings might have ended right there, or some super battle droids and the Sith or Jedi is in some deep shit.

What can kill a Jedi can Kill a Dark Jedi, the difference is that a Sith (or other Dark Jedi) is gonna use destructive force powers(if he can), so killing him won't as easy.
EDIT:also what kind of Sith Lord are talking about here?

A toaster.
I am almost serious
IIRC force users cannot read the minds/intents of mechanical things (i.e. computers/droids/toasters) and a droid/toaster has a better chance of catching a sith lord unawares.**
Obviously the danger sense will still go off, hence Jedi can block shots fired by droids just as easily as by anyone else. The difference here is the toaster will explode when it senses the Sith lord nearby. It will have to be a rather large explosion, but something small enough to fit within the topic should be effective enough.
The idea is the Sith Lord cannot tell that the innocent looking toaster across the room he just walked into is planning to explode; he will be able to tell something bad is about to happen--but what it is and where from just might be too hard to determine before it is too late. He wouldn't simply avoid the trap because it is governed by a simple, simple thing like a small computer ship and a sensor and there is no mind (artificial or otherwise) to read or detect. No malicious intent to feel, that kind of thing.
So Sith Lord walks into the kitchen for breakfaste and suddenly has a bad feeling about something completely indeterminant moments before a largish explosion consumes the room, him and several nearby rooms in fire.
**Obviously if my recollection is off the mark then what I have claimed kindof goes out the window.

Yeah, a nice large Droideka army could do it.
Perhaps some super battle droids?
Throw in some of the most elite Commandos, and you could take the Sith Lord down.

Yeah or a Ysalamiri, you and a blaster.

Oh yes, the Ysalamiri. That could work, too. But having a large army and using overkill is way more fun.

That true
and I ask again what kind of Sith Lord are we talking about (is no-name Sith that were killed by Jedi during the sith wars or one of the high end Lord like Marka(or Marko) Ragnos , Exar Kun, Darth Revan, Darth Sion or Darth Sidious.)

Concentrated fire from a Super Battle Droid platoon (36 units, plus "commander" and "sergeant"). Even a Sith Lord can't block that much fire. Even so, all the shots being reflected back would cause heavy losses on said platoon. And, since Sith can move very fast, they could run in and begin reducing the droids to scrap while still blocking blaster shots. A quick, sudden strike would be the key. Even then, it still isn't a guarantee.

It's a Sith Lord. Caution is required.

Well, according to KOTOR, lesse. I took out Metaljaw pretty handilly using only a small mountain of medpacs, and a vibroblade. So uh. Go for that!
Failing, there's another way. Nuke the site from orbit. Only way to be sure.

EMP (or its sufficiently technobabbly Wars equivalent), and a few guys with automatic chemical-powered firearms.
*Fwoop* so much for your saber.
*BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM* So much for your spine.

I would release a fast acting virus in to the area around the village unless of coerce that counts as a big ass weaponry. But if you think about it a virus would have a very small ass (if it has one) just lots of them.
The sith would be dead before he new to use the force to resist it.

Yes, that's who I meant, Revan. But even without force powers. Heck. Mission could have pulled it off. HK-47 could have pulled it off...

well the Only to do it (on light side at least) is not to use the Force until you run out of Medpacks (and
remember that no matter what Revan is a very powerful force user and HK-47 is designed to kill Jedi (and for Mission Vao she'd end in a Force stasis in the begining if the battle (game mechanics are not canon))

4 Hired mercanaries and a Superbattle Droid with a Yslamari and Destroyer Droid generator on it's back
3 Hired mercanaries fire from a distance to distract the Sith lord, while 1 sneaks up on him.
He turns to deal with the 'sneak' mercanary, and the Superbattledroid runs up to him and destonates the shield generator
Sith Lord: 0
Solauren: 1

I was just asking because I remember in the HOTD how whatsherface was talking about how a Dark Jedi was running around and had a portion of the galaxy living in fear and the battles that were raged to TRY (they didn't succeed) to bring him down were enough to give her nightmares as a young girl. So I wonder how a Sith Lord would fare?
