I read the comic. Hillarious but it's outside even the scope of the EU.

Ah, the old SW tales story...loved Vader's twist at the end. Not canon, but fun to read.

Emperor: "What about these bottomless pits, would it be too much to ask for some safety rails? I mean, I'm ruthless, but I gotta walk these halls too, and my balance ain't what it used to be."
Techie: "It's not too much to ask, as long as you don't mind an overall budget increase of 36%."
Emperor: "Oh, in that case I'll just be careful." (to Vader) Whenever I'm on this thing, I want you with me at all times. The last thing I need is for some guy to sneak up behind me and throw me into one of these pits."
Vader: "Yes, my master."

Excellent!

That's awesome. Seems to catch plenty of spoofing, and seems resonable. Pretty damn good. The only thing, is the last panel with Vader. I know he would have handed the one with Yogi in it to Bevel, but what's with him keeping the DS one? Just to have something cool to look at?

I think the most 'weird' thing about this whole comic is trying to actually picture the Emperor actually having a business meeting like that. You know, just, talking to a bunch of guys.

Seriously, can you really Picture the same guy from RotJ asking some scientists and a Moff "Would like some Water? Coffee?"

It's probably the most subtle joke (I didn't get it until the "rebel spy" comment was made here) in the comic. Vader and Tarkin were bickering back and forth for half the comic. Then, suddenly, Vader says he would "hate" to see the plans fall into the wrong hands, as that would make Tarkin look like a fool in front of the Emperor. He, of course, says this while keeping the plans for himself.

And Palpatine's comment to Vader about making sure nobody throws him off was just great.

Do we know exactly who did this? whats his name? Website? And if, dear god, he has MORE like htis? (hopes)

I imagine he took the plans in order to mess up Tarkin's life, since when the Emperor finds out the plans are missing, he'll blame Tarkin for screwing up. Also, Vader's the one the Emperor will send to look for them, so he'll get a vacation from fetching coffee for idiots.

My favorite moment was when Tarkin suggests renaming the DMIBS, The Planet Killer, and Vader makes the little "phft" noise at him.

How about
"If I had a Nickle for everyYahoo who was able to fly into one of my capitle ships and knock out my Reactor... I could build TWO of these things!"
