The price of a SW Book?

If a new Star Wars Book came out that was a cross between the ICS and the Imperial Sourcebook, so it contained fully detailed information on ships, such as full weapons and crew numbers and yields, carried ships etc, a complete Order of battle, included battleships destroyers, fighters, army units etc, detailed info on ground vehicles etc. Pretty much like the US and USSR War Mahine books I have from the 80s cold war era. It would be very detailed and probaly quite thick, lets say its around half to three quarters as thick as the SW Chronicles. Would you be intrested in buying it? Would you prefer it as a single book or as a weekly or monthly collection series that you put into a ring folder? How much would you be willing to pay for it?
If you could also give the price of what the EPII ICS costs in your country for a comparison, it would be helpful. Its around £15 here i think. I was crazy enough to spend £100 on the Chronicles, so if such a book was publised and was really good i would likely pay up to that price.

Thanks.

Lee

I would pay that much. That's about $140, but I think it would be worth it.

It depends on how big it was. If it detailed 100 vessels, I'd buy it, for about $70 max.

Yes exackley like that, but also with similar for the Army, Starfighters, Stormtroopers, Intelligence Agencies etc. Also all full command structures ranging from the military to a Moff or Grand Moffs staff.
Its highly unlickley such a book would be done, but i do think if it was, it would have pretty good sale figures.

Such is certainly my ultimate dream as far as SW tech literature is concerned.

I'd also buy it, and ram it up darkstar where the sun doesn't shine, and another on for myself.

Or perhaps full Star Destroyer deckplans which include every single corridor and all the systems, their locations, their functions...

That would be excellant, but can you imagine the amount of time that would take. I can imagine that would take at least a year to do, then you would be looking at a huge price increase

Yeah, those should perhaps be sold seperate to keep the price of the book lower.
Nonetheless, I would just love to have complete SD deckplans, even if they were expensive. That kind of stuff has been done for ST ships (E-D for example), and the ISD deserves them as well.

Yes I know, I have the deckplans for the E-D, i think they are good and would love to have them done for the ISD, or even better an Executor class. Its crazy but I'd probably pay a couple of hundred pounds for deckplans of the Executor. A shocking thought, what if someone did the deckplans for the death star, you would need at least a lorry to carry them...
