Does anyone have an information on these?
Just on a rough guess, I estimate them to be 200-400 meters long. They have fuel cells.
Is there an official source on these guys yet?

There's a card in the WOTC AOTC TCG.

Don't assume that means they actually use fuel cells technology to generate power. Fuel storage tanks also get called fuel cells.

A singularly uninformative card, I might add, unless someone here knows what the little numbers and icons mean.

Where'd you find that? I couldn't find "hardcell class" on Google. Thanks.

Hahahaha
Damn I hate the new card game... If it was still made by Decipher, at least we'd get a class name and a brief description.

Yeah. I used to love those decipher cards. I got a bunch of the obscure cantina aliens back when info on them was scarce.
Anyway, I made some more measurements, and the ship could be no more than 255.2 m long. It is probably a bit less than 255.2.

WotC took up SW:TCG right? I hate those bastards, they ruined Magic: the Gathering, they couldn't make any new cards cool without making them horrible overpowered, and then they completely shifted the target audience by making it overly simple to try and compete with Pokemon. I got fed up with it about two years ago, still have a deck though.

Acutally, from what I read the Hardell's were converted into battleships, much like the TradeFed battleships. I dunno really, I got the information from the card set. Either that, or starwars.com.

Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia wrote:Hardcell-class Transport
this cylindrical transport ship was developed and manufactured by the Techno Union. The main section of the ship was an elongated, egg-shaped hull in which huge amounts of cargo could be stored. The aft section of the ship consisted of six long engines, each of which was filled with thousands of gallons of fuel. Rather than using repulors, the Hardcell-class transport relied on the sheer power of flame to reach orbit. The Hardcell-class transport took off and landed vertically, with the engine section resting on the ground. Once in space, these ships were equipped with powerful hyperdrives to propel them across the galaxy. Because the Hardcell-class relied on propellants to reach sublight speeds, they were slow-moving and clumsy to fly. (SWI62)
So I guess
Star Wars Insider #62 had the skinny on the
Hardcell.
Why weren't the
Acclamators shotting at the
Hardcells and the Federation ships?

Weapons too powerful to risk killing ground troops?
Heheh...... powerful.

Why would the Techno Union use rocket engines? Repuslors are inexpensive, and efficent. Can anyone find a reason why they would use rocket engines? As for "thousands of gallons", that seems pretty small an estimate. 25,000 gallons of water could fit into an area of 10m by 10m by 2m.
They were probably there to transport cargo, such as TU ground forces. Similar to what the TF core ships were there for.
