Au Speculation: If Toth suceeded...

I just finished replaying Jedi Starfighter and started to wonder, what would have happened if Toth had suceeded in using Hex Weapons on Geonosis, most of the Jedi would be gone, the republics army would have been wiped out, much of the Seperatist leadership would also be dead, so what happens after that if it happened.

How would this effect the SW universe beyond the direct effects.

well, the republic would have had more clonetroopers being produced, and the seperatists would have more battle droids being produced...

as for the lask of leaderships, I'm fairly sure palparine could have arranged for someone else to take their place.

BTW, what exactly is a hex weapon, and who's toth?

Toth was a the commander of the Saboath merceneries, working for the Seperatists.

Hex (or Trihexilon) was a chemical weapon manufactured by the Trade feds on Dooku's orders. A small vial of the stuff was "Strong enough to kill 200 wookiees" or something like that.

not sure, just seeing the dragons breath clipscene in the game made me wonder what a large scale deployment was, did it destroy the body as well, the scene doesn't really show.

Toth? Isn't that a character from Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Trihexalon-1138 has been retconned into an extremely strong defoliant. It would probably kill a great many Jedi, but some would manage to make it to LAAT/i's or other armor that has contained atmosphere. Likewise, clonetroopers and vehicle crews would be protected from the contents of the air. The Republic would still win, at much dearer a cost. This was probably Palpatine's original plan, as it would have killed most of the Jedi instead of just some getting killed. The clones would've persevered.

How so?

While i don't know about the gamei, most of the Jedi (save 12) were already dead and i don't remember Yoda bringing lots of Jedi to the battle.

so both sides would still have their armies and the seperatists would no longer have much in the way of leadership, is it possible that there are different versions of Hex weapons, and Kavic Toths was a more advanced chemical weapon. It killed the Nemoidians real quick, so how many jedi would probably suceed. It also seems like it would have at least killed slowed some of Palpatines plans with his second aprentice dead, who would he replace Tyranus with. Would the dark sider from the Clone Wars microseries that says that she is Sith be the replacement?

You mean Assaji Ventriss? She could have been next in line, or perhaps a jedi on the edge, like Quinlan Vos.
