Saxton writing another SW book

Post by His Divine Shadow »

http://www.theforce.net/books/bookschedule.shtml

Out in March 3rd, called "Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones"

Ofcourse, I must admit, gloatingly(look at me I am soo important, worship me :P), that I knew Saxton was making some kinda book for weeks, if not months now, though I didn't know what book or what role he had in it, but we know now, dont we? ;)

That will be cool, sounds like an essential guide to planets type thing, but I would imagine in much greater detail. I wonder if he will go back and do one for TPM later?

I hope it's more than just locations, that would be utterly boring and a waste of Saxton's talents, I want a tech-book, plain and simple, like the EGWT.

Though this might be a mix of many things instead.

Strange. I thought this would be more up David West Reynolds ally: the difference in methodology:

DWR: "the Acclamator was designed because of the galactic ..."
CS: "the Acclamator kicks THIS MUCH ASS (units of measurement of ass kickage follow)."

It's listed right there at the bottom below 2004, no titles and the only info we got is that it's linking TPM and AOTC

Apparently, one SW novel by Zahn will be set 3 years after Vision of the Future. Reportedly, Mara and Luke will be involved with the Chiss in the Unknown Regions involving something to do with the Outbound Flight Project.

The other title is apparently a prequel of such to the other one, involving a young Thrawn, and the launch and destruction of the Outbound Flight.

Perhaps Spaarti clones and stormtroopers and the Katana fleet info to make it fit into the new trilogy will be properly slipped in? Time will tell.

They already have an inside the worlds of TPM out. it came out not long after TPM did. I was really hoping that they would make one for AotC as well.

I'd prefer his site was made into a book with some data filled in; IE 100 quadrillion in the Republic, The Empire had 500,000 Allegiance's and then placed as just below the movies in the canon lineup.

Well, I think it should be leatherbound, with gilt-edged paper, and one of those ribbon bookmarks sewn into the binding! <G>
I haven't had one of those oversized paperbacks Star Wars books fall apart on me, and paperbacks are cheaper, so bring it on.

I want it ring bound with removable pages. Makes it easy to scan things in to further the Trekkie ass raping.

I would also prefer a book on ship technology, but I'm fine with a book on planets. I'm quite fascinated with Coruscant, and would like to see something like a cutaway, and statistics on the planets.
