Could Yoda have beaten palpatine if...

Instead of splitting their force to go agianst anakin and palpatine, Yoda and Obi-Wan had simply focused on the master. Would Obi-wan be enough to tip the balance in Yoda's favor?

It's possible, but Palpatine's legions of clonetroopers provided an unbeatable advantage. Palpy clearly wasn't too confident against Yoda at first, which is why he tried to run off to get the clones.
