IMPS-Chapter 1 - Davenport Gateway
Not the fastest download, and a huge file (208 Mb) but, looks pretty good and definitely in the TROOPS theme

I do, too. Most displeasing.

Hmm no dice trying getting in through the link or through theforce .net -- maybe their server is offline at the moment (D/L ok earlier this evening, but at a slow speed)

I managed to get it earlier today from the website. The Force is clearly not with the rest of you.
In short, it kicked much ass and was very engaging. I can't wait for Chapter 2.

The amount of female voices was kinda jarring. Not sexist or anything but it's not what we're used to from the films, nevermind the obvious american accents
And the Relentless would look ALOT better with a reactor bulb instead of that lower bridge..

Not to be sexist or anything, but the nose art on the AT-AT was a nice touch
And the chatter between the Scout Troopers and the Stormtrooper squad was hilarious
"Man, why'd we have to call those guys for backup? We may as well have called in an airstrike...."
"Yeah, whatever, tree-dodger; get out of my face...."

All I can say is that the VFX were near professional caliber (not surprising considering that they seem to have gotten help from some major studios) and the acting kicked the ass of SW: Revolutions.

The trigger happy trooper with the repeater made me fall outa my seat. Really funny shit.

The poaching bit was great, but the contraband was a let-down after such a great buildup. Overall a great production. I hope that there's a bit of variety with the other parts, though.

Okay I finally got to see this since I had time to download the Torrent.. great stuff there. The chatter between the troopers was hilarious, especially the 'tree-dodger' bit.

You should be put on trial for such chronic ignorance of ANH.
"Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?"
"Huh? Oh, the uniform!"

If it´s anything like Troops, I suppose it´s semi-serious and semi-hilarious.
EDIT: I was right. Funny how the female commander reminded me of Vansen and Space:AAB.
The Gatling gun on the AT-ST was a nice touch, as was the "tree dodger" remark. Hope the remaining episodes keep up the good work.

That's worth watching. A lot of Star Wars fan films aren't. It's not *unbelievable*, but it's certainly *entertaining*, especially the crossover parts, and the liberties they took with the art and design.
