Vader hunting down Obi-Wan?

sorry if there is a post like this.

Besides the whole Jedi purge thing that Vader goes on. Do you think he actually went about looking for Obi-Wan at the same time? Perhaps looking for a bit of revenge?

Now I don't know if there are any novels or comics about this.(Was it mentioned in the movies either?)

But it sort of struck me today. That it would only seem logical that Vader would hunt down Obi-Wan especially after everything that went down between them. That whole revenege thing should seem appealing to a Sith.

Heck even a hunt for Yoda would seem in order. Obi-Wan and Yoda were probably the two most powerful Jedi left alive. It would seem stupid to just forget all about them.

What if Vader put resources into finding Obi-Wan and found him (Maybe not on Tattooine) some five to ten years later? Would the battle between them be different? Or do you think Obi-Wan would have pulled what he did on the death star?

any thoughts?

By that time he could probably have just ordered a base delta zero of Tattooine (or whatever planet he was on), but Vader being Vader and particularly being in a universe that George Lucas owns the exclusive rights to, he would have not done the sensible thing (which would be to destroy the entire planet), but would rather have gone down and fought Obi-Wan, and perhaps even used his spiffy new Vader suit of Wisdom Mark II, and fought the battle in a sensible way, thus defeating Obi-wan, who he is stronger than. Or he might have gotten chopped up again. It's your call.

I doubt Obi-Wan would have done what he did on the Death Star unless there was some pressing reason for him to sacrifice himself.
