Who is the Heir Apparent to Vader?

Post by NecronLord »

This is for a fanfic, should anyone be interested. Assuming that around the time of ANH, Vader dies, as does Jerec, and no other canon characters are available for subversion, who would become Sidious' new apprentice?

Hell knowing palpatine he would clone Vader and train him all over again. Simply because A) all his other apprentices were weak (or older then him) and ended up dead any way.

Why kill Jerec? The two most powerful remaining dark siders are High Inquisitor Tremayne, and the Grand Inquisitor, the Lord Tobin. Though it is useful to note that Sedriss was groomed to run the show while Palpatine was out after Luke jumped ship and the Eclipse was consumed.

What about Sidrous (sp?). Palpatine gave him a lot of power in Dark Empire II.

Executor Sedriss. Personally, he came off as kind of a punk.

Well, it's a question for fanfic purpouses, and I've... already had Jerec beheaded by Anakin/Vader so... Not much chance of him.

Though, otherwise, I'd say he's probably the obvious choice.

You know nothing of imperil succession any one that knows anything about starwars know that the emperor’s gerbil “Mr Bilges” is thrid in line and would have been put in control of the empire if he had not been killed on the deathstar II. :D :D :D

But back to real starwars there was a cyberneticly enhanced sith hidden on corascant (Jason finds and fights him in NJO) could it be him. He was certainly strong in the force.

"Lord Nyax" is just the brain-dead dark side berzerker incarnation of Irek Ismaren.

Because it was after Vader. Literally in Children of the Jedi the kid's end was left up in the air. So later in NJO he reappears as a cross between Grievous and Wolverine.

Bizzare.

Which reminds me, is there anything on what happened to Assaj Ventress after the Clone Wars?

Yeah, Anakin killed her during the Clone Wars in one of the comics, IIRC. ;)

I wonder about that since she left to the Outer Rim after he last encounter with Anakin and Obi Wan. Both of who assumed she bit the big one, so no one is going to really hunt her down or such.

Star Wars: Obsession #5 covers that. Other then that? No idea.

Actually, he does not. In the final Obsession, she is apperently killed, but at the end, she seems to have faked it. The ROTS: VD confirms this, listing her as having "escaped and disappeared."

Anakin took her ship so wouldn't she have been stranded until the rebels set up the base?

I'm sure Sidious or Dooku picked her up eventually.

Wasn't a Sith Lord. He was a wannabe Dark jedi who took a saber through his brain in a duel. His mummy took him to a courscant med lab (hidden in a devouror tank that created oxygen and Palpy could shut down to aphixiate all of Imperial Centre) and basically rebuilt him with cybernetic impants an hormones that made him keep growing. He had computer implants in his brain that let him control the force etc. He wa skpet hidden with Ysalmiri. During the fall of Corscant these ysalamiri were killed by falling debris. And Irek Broke out and slaughter all is med droid and his dear old mum. This was before Ireks' memories were download. This creature only had basic sith instints fighting with his six in built lightsabre, take over the galaxy little things like that.

The Name Lord Nyax was gien to him by courscanti survivors after a corellian legend about a monstorous giant man who took children in the night. A Legend which had been spread through out the galaxy by Darth Vader's Missions to hunt down force sensitve kiddies.

Lord Nyax mind controlled dozen of coruscanti survivors and used a construction droid to break into a wellspring of force energy beneath the old jedi temple.

He was killed by Tahiri with vong razor bugs.

This all happened in Aaraon Allston's 'Rebel Stand'

Either that or Exar Kun's spirit killed her/fucked her up for the hell of it, though I guess he wouldn't attack a fellow dark sider.
