1. What colors are there for twi'leks besides blue, green, and greyish?

2. Do Togrutas have other skin colors besides red?

3. What were the species of Jabba's slave girls?

4. Are there any other species besides twi'leks that just seem to have evolved exclusively for the purpose for dancing and looking pretty?

That's a brainbug. In the films, the Twi'Leks aren't all attractive (read: babes) nor are they all dancing girls, much less slaves. And even in the Star Wars universe I'm sure they've heard of plastic surgery and makeup, it's not as if it has to all be naturally born "beauty" (which is in the eye of the beholder!).

So it's no more illogical than any other species with a few attractive members appearing onscreen. We've seen fat Twi'Leks (Twi-Leks?), ugly ones, Jedi ones, Senator ones, etc.

Yeah.

Well, female Twi'Leks are simply supposed to be typically athletic and graceful, making them good very dancers. That's why they get scooped up as slaves. Ryloth is somewhat more primitive making it susceptible to slavers..

I said that Twi'Leks are athletic and graceful, traits which make them naturally good dancers. Slavers often go to Ryloth to kidnap or barter (with Twi'Lek communities!) for female slaves because of this.

I didn't say "ALL TWI'LEK FEMALES ARE DANCERS ZOMG".

Male Twi'Leks have a different appearance from females.. they have chin bags and completely different ears. Twi'Lek ears are deserving of their own thread topic tbh(!).

Well, it's not as if I said that "twi'lek females are all too stupid and too damn pretty to be anything else than dancers and harem girls." They just seem to take up an overwhelming number of positions as slaves.

And I'd still like an answer to questions 2, 3, and 4. Since racial differences within species apparently aren't well-defined for twi'leks, there's probably no answer to 1.

Wtf is the deal with some folks reading a simple factual statement and totally blowing it out of proportion, deriving a message of their own based on their hairbrained assumptions.
The established fact is that Ryloth is a backward planet, with communities that sell their own your girls into slavery, who unfortunately are prized as slaves for their attractiveness. No, not all fucking Twi'Leks are slave dancers, nor are they incapable of being more.

This thread is like Revenge of the Twi'Lek Feminazis or something..

Oddly enough, Ryloth is still incredibly primative, despite being a major exporter of illict drugs. Also, for some reason, it rated a senator in the Old Republic.

It is, incidentally, important to note that even on Coruscant there seemed to be no Twi'lek females but the jedi one who did anything but look pretty on someone's arm. There was one in the Opera house scene, and quite a few in the nightclub scene of AotC.
