I have seen ROTS twice now and both times I think I saw it. Remember in the seen with the giant water orb thing when Anakin and palpateen are talking. Well is it only me or dose darth varder's mask appear in the swirls for a slit second.

Did any one else see it.

I mean in the ripples it all sort of come to gather for a split second and I would swear I could see darth vaders mask. It not like a picture that comes up for one frame it’s more just a very strong impression.

Well, plenty of people thought they saw Vader in AOTC when Dooku gets on his speeder in the Geonosian hangar. Turns out, it was just a Neimodian Tech. People see what they want to see, subconciously of course.

Do you recall Anakin's line during the apparition? Would it be in line with seeing the Vader pattern?

the best thing is when you see Darth Vaders shilotte in TPM, behind QuiGons shoulder in Wattos shop, if you think about it, its the 2 dumba##es who make Anakin who is is

Qui-Gon finds him, Watto sells his mother to the Lars' where shes killed, Anakin gets mad and starts his dark decent

speaking of which, I read in another thread that Qui Gon gave Ani's mother a crystal that she could later buy her freedom with... why didn't he just trade it to Watto for her? He would almost have to accept with his new gambling debts.

Presumably "silhouette".

OK, just got back from seeing RotS in 70mm and because of this thread I watched the water ballet spheres very closely. While there are some ripples in the central sphere that produce an image similar to the brow ridges on Vader's mask, I didn't see anything that looked deliberate.
