We all know the RotS Clonetroopers kick ass in terms of both looks and moves- since they used motion capture of real military personnel for RotS (they should've done so for AotC, but anyway).

The candidates: (feel free to add your own):

- The ziplining Clonetroopers (this goes into the group category);
- The Clonetrooper who leaps onto a crab droid and fires down onto it;
- The Clonetrooper calling for medical attention for a squadmate;
- The Clonetrooper who drops to one knee and blasts a battledroid on full auto
- The Clonetrooper who's lost his gun and is fighting hand to hand (listed on sw.com Easter Egg)
- The (ARC) Clonetroopers making really sure that Aayla Secura is dead;
- The Snow Clonetroopers who line up to shoot Ki-Ad-Mundi (this goes into the group category);
- The BARC speeder Clonetroopers, because they look awesome just sitting there; and
- The camo scouttroopers on Kashyyk firing on full-auto at the invading Separatists (lose points for standing however).

Feel free to add your own. Seriously, RotS made me wish all the Stormtroopers in the OT were CGI. No joke.

I love the look of the Snow clonetroopers; it somehow invokes an image of futuristic Red Army soldiers. But the medic clonetrooper is a great touch. Argh, so hard to decide.
Edit: Woops, clonetrooper calling for a medic, not an actual medic.

-The trooper who politely holds Yoda's saber in his chest, so it can be pulled out in a badass fashion.

-The guy who lets out a "Wilhelm" when that gun turret blows in the early battle.

It seems I missed at least of the examples given. My vote goes to the "nothing to see here, move along"

I'd also go for the guy who jumped on top of a crab droid and fired down into its carapace.

The dude who got stuck like a pig by Yoda wasn't holding the saber. Looks like Stormtrooper/Clonetrooper armor provides enough apparent resistance to lightsabers to support the weight of a lightsaber.

The one who reported to Cody, and had been looking for Obi Wan. He had some sort of odd helmet and armour. Might be an aqua trooper.

The award goes to every and all clones who PWN3D the jedi by shooting them in the back.
Honorable mention goes to clones who PWN3D the jedi temple.
Made me feel all warm and cuddly inside.

Once again superior firepower wins the day, which is quite right and proper.

This isn't from the movies, but...I vote the ARC commander with the twin pistols from the Clone War animations. He was just plain cool.

That guy's the same type as the one calling for medical attention for a fallen trooper.

Those are the troops that kill Aayla Secura (besides updated helmets)- they've got pauldrons, the half "skirts" and the twin pistols in holsters.

This guy rocked. Why cares about firing at the enemy from afar when you can just jump on top of them?

The kneeling guy blasting away at full-auto. He was a genuine badass.

The "crab trooper" has my vote.

Yeah, the Trooper that aced that crab droid definently deserves the Imperial Iron Badass award.

But I really dug the Camo Trooper... It was nice to see someone had finally figured out that bright white clashes with a woodland evironment.

My vote has to go for the trooper who figures out the way to kill a Jedi. Shoot him with a big gun from a long way away.

The fact that he doesn't kill him is immaterial... mention it and I will call Vader on thee...

I'm going with the camo'd clonetroopers on the cliffs. The guys in the "trenches (and I use the term loosely) weren't too smart but the guys on the cliff actually demonstrate the idea that some poeple get the concept of using the high ground to your advantage.

Crab-killer gets my vote, and so does Mr Fullauto.

EDIT: I can just imagine the latter yelling as he fires, "Come get me you tinheaded motherfucking sons of bitches I'll fucking mow you down like a fucking sonofabitch if you want some come and get it you fucking..." *profanity continues unabated*

"Crab Trooper" was awesome.

Although my vote goes to the Snow Clones. The faceless mask and winter gear gets me every time.

Crab Droid followed closely by Full Auto.

If we're expanding to the cartoons, Clone Commander Who Goes Apeshit on SBDs in Coruscant wins by FAR. I don't dig the modified rebreather on his mask, but I don't think we see anybody match his actions in terms of badassity.

Looks-wise, I think the original red ARC Trooper design is one of the coolest designs in sci-fi history.

I'd say the camo scouttroopers were pretty darn cool, followed by the snow Clonetroopers.
