Another topic that crops up every week or so (and likely will continue doing so) is Palpatine's disfigurement. The general consensus is that Palpatine was not deformed by his lightning reflected back at him, but that he merely dropped his Force disguise and revealed his true face, whether by the stress of generating the lightning, or by choice. Its probably better if there weren't more threads about this, unless someone found some conclusive proof that discredits the current working theory.

EDIT: Of course, I'm not a mod, but its a suggestion.

What the fuck do you think you're doing adding to a mod's announcement thread. Do you see that as standard operating procedure?

Not to mention adding shit that isn't even RELATED to the subject matter of the actual thread...

All I can add is fucking indeed, YT. I'm pondering whether to just outright delete the post. I'll decide later, kind of busy at the moment.

It didn't look like it was going to be added, and is just as important as the SS topic, by the number of off-shoot threads in this forum. As I said in my post, its just a suggestion.

As to it not being related to the subject matter, this thread is about topics to not create threads about as they've been done to death, correct? Because this perfectly fits into that.

EDIT: Well, that solves the problem. To keep this from being a waste of text, I suggest we list the topics that are overdone in this forum (IIRC where humans came from is among there, though I can't recall any specifics), so that Vympel could possibly later incorporate them into his announcement.

Split because when we make annoucements, about things of the nature of "Stop doing...", it is not a public addition to go "Well this should added as well"

The Palpatine issue isn't even that much of an issue, YT. There's only been one damn thread about it.
