Star Destroyer. It may not be practical, but chicks dig the vehicle.

Seriously, a modified speeder with a lot of high powered modifications, in more ways than one.

Any vehicle? In that case, I would choose the Scimitar from Nemesis, upgraded with SW tech but keeping its cloaking system.

Just something about that ship.

YT-2000

Has good cargo holds, two quad laser turrets, forward laser canon, and an ion cannon with good speed.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Isn't Imperial Palace designed to withstand such attacks?

I'd choose a B-Wing, because I would have sufficient defense from any bounty hunter/mercenary/Imperial/smuggler/assassin/ Black Sun/etc. scum and could travel off-planet as well as orbit the planet to avoid that heavy traffic. :P

An A-Wing or a Jedi Starfighter. They're small enough to manuver through traffic but also capable of space flight and even jumps to lightspeed.

Yep, but I'll sneak up too the window, and boom dead Rebel Chief of State. If Rebel Starfighters would come I'd could just fly away.

Rebel Chief of State? I'm not the Rebel Chief of State. But if I were, I would have thousands of guards posted at windows and doors throughout Imperial Palace to ensure my safety. I'd also have a few elite personal guards that I know and trust and would always be there if needed. Besides, this thread has nothing to do with windows in buildings. Just transportation. :P

Carrack cruiser with a full salve rig and repulsorlift array fitted. Fast as an X-wing and it has heavy turbolasers. I might however get a plug put in to provide a small hanger. 350 meter length might be a problem in the streets though, maybe a gunship then...

Better yet, Trade Federation Coreship, I'll leave the rest in orbit. Things already have driod crews and all that internal space makes upgrades a snap.
