It doesn't look too bad.
Though I would just prefer a ROTS:ITW... but at least we get to see some Sith War stuff.

One question... How many spaceships will it feature via 'ICS' style?

Is Saxton going to be involved, like he was with ITW?

Looking at the front cover (and assuming that is an author's name under the book name), and also reading the text, I would say that he's not writing the book. It's actually Ryder Windham. He could still be a consultant.
Crossroads, I have no idea if we'll see any ships -- though I hope we do.

Dr Saxton has fulfilled his contract with DK, and has not been signed for future books at this time. So no, he isn't involved.

None, though some interviews like the one in the latest SWI suggest a future expanded ICS to cover things like the Executor and such. Expect the mother of all screaming matchs on SW and TFN leading up to and including the release of that if it happens.

Looks neat. Anyone know when they are going to make the ultimate essential guides? I know about the new essential guides covering everything up to ep2. But how about ultimate guides for planets, moons, species and characters?

There's a new guide to chronology coming out this fall, but beyond that, I havent heard anything.

But that wouldn't rule out him as consultant though.

It looks a little boring, from the few images that one can see. Its nothing more than a retelling of what happened with nothing expanded upon greatly. But, hopefully, I'm wrong. But given the performances of past authors hired or writing such books,, I won't be holding my breath.

I don't follow the boards over at SW and TFN much. What are they up in arms about now?
As far as the book, looks decent enough. I'm sure I'll pick it up with the new ITW they're releasing.

Yes actually, it does.

Anything relating to Dr Saxton really, in particular stuff about the Executor

Oh, they're still on the anti-Saxton kick? I thought they had moved on to something else. I never really did understand the intense dislike many of them have for him.

I can't figure it out either. As for the example with the Executor, they must be blind. There are at least two scenes in TESB and two scenes in ROTJ which shows the size ratio of the ISDs and the Executor.

New ITW book? As in a ROTS one? As far as I've heard, you're going to be waiting for a very long time -- they're not releasing a ROTS:ITW. Rather, just this ultimate guide thing.

There's a new ITW coming out this fall that has all the movies (1-6) in a single book.
Here
Mange, the only thing I can figure out is that it challenges some of the earlier (erroneous) figures put forth by WEG and carried over into the EU. Why they want to hang on to them though, I couldn't say.

Mental retardation isn't something you tend to recover from.
