How Tall is Aayla Secura?

Post by Lord Revan »

How Tall is Aayla Secura. She seems quite tall (for a "woman") in both the movies and comics I have, so is any official number, on how tall she is?

And you were wondering why I need this, it from there we get estimate on her mass which is important factor in fights were she can't use the Force without blowing her cover.

According to wikipedia she's only 1.52 meters (5 ft. 8 in.) so she's not that tall.

Yeah, you're right, 68 inches is around 170 cm. I don't know which figure is incorrect though.

simple if shows strength bigger then a Twi'lek female of her size and bodyshape should she's either a shapesifter or a Jedi and being suspected of either of those won't help her compleat her mission (Aayla, like her Master Quilan Vos have done several covert missions.)

well when compared to Bly, Aayla doesn't seems that short, so I think the 150 cm figure is the incorrect one (since Bly and all other people apart of Aayla are CGI Amy Allen's real life height wouldn't matter.)

she seems shorter then Obi-Wan (179 cm) in AOTC, but on other hand She doesn't look short when standing in front of Commander Bly (183 cm) in ROTS there's some distance between them, but it's no more then few meters at most and I think she wouldn't look taller then the clones in still image if only 150 cm.

They're on a planet that is mostly populated by massive multihued cauliflowers. A several inch difference in the height of the ground between where they are standing isn't all that unlikely.

Okay, I get what you mean, but I still have no idea what you're going at, let alone why it's even important.

Eh, 5 feet 8 inches is 1.73 meters, NOT 1.5m.

If those other figures that were provided here are right, then:
Obi-Wan - 1.79m
Clones - 1.83m
Aayla - 1.73m

How does that sound/look?

It can help to determine her combat capablity at Hypori (vs. Grievous).

I don't know if it helps, but the actress is about 5'6/5'7, or seemed so when I met her.

so Amy Allen is 165 cm/167.5 cm by your estimate (please convert the values as finn I can't really understand the imperial units (1 inch is 2.54 cm and 1 feet is 30.48 cm).

I doubt Aayla's height and weight have much to do with her combat capability. If I were to bring up Jedi Master Yoda, it would be a bit of an extreme, but nevertheless that drastic example should should make it clear that a mere inch of height isn't going to affect a trained Force adept's combat abilites very much.

That's because 1 foot consists of 12 inches. Twelve inches, not ten.. that's probably the part that killed ya :)

sure they won't affect her combat capabities when she has the full command of the Force, but they affect the combat capabities of typical Twi'lek (or any other creature).

I still don't see how height can be such a serious determining factor to combat ability.

Let alone still even why it's so important. Something about blowing a cover, but I don't see how.

height and body shape can determine a person's mass and mass is importaant on the strength off a blow or a kick if the person has any martial training (like the Jedi), which can determine how hard was it to for Grievous defeat the Jedi at Hypori.

If someone's thin and short, you'd expect them to do less damage in hand-to-hand combat than someone large and muscular. Jedi can use the Force to amplify their blows. Hence, if a 5" 8' thin female Twi'lek throws someone through a wall (just as a random example) people might pay attention.

we get an estimate, while not very accurate. gives a lower limit to Grievous strength (very low limit, which we to be too, but limit non the less.)

Of course, the fact that Grievous is a total cyborg rather complicates the matter.

Since the Star Wars Galaxy is only a fraction of the size of our's, she is in fact only 12 inches tall.

Thus her large size action figure is "to scale."

Oh... sorry, what was the question again? ;)

not really, it only proves that the said limit is way too low.
