There's a new update to the databank. Not that very much, but interesting nonetheless:

And Palpatine wasn't faking, and his disfigurement
was from the lightning. Hah.

Palpatine slumped in his cornered, seemingly too weak to continue the lightning assault.
The two entered into a spectacular duel -- a contest between the most powerful practitioners of the Force's light and dark sides. The Emperor proved too powerful to defeat. Though Yoda held his own for much of the duel, in the end, the Sith bested him.
Sit´n´spin, ladies.

Makes you wonder, if Mace's (in my opinion wankish) Vaapad-style could have been a first small step to catch up with the "evolved/advanced" Sith.
BTW, what has been so special about that "evolution" of the Sith?

WELL.. AT LEAST AAYLA IS STILL ALIVE!!

Eh, was there ever any doubt about this whatsoever?
Or has there been a "
Yoda-was-faking" camp that's cropped up somewhere now?

Anyone else find it ironic that the pic they used for the Jedi Order was a bunch of corpses?

The point is, if Yoda and Palpatine are the two most powerful, Mace isn't.
In that case he couldn't have defeated Palpatine (of course this ignores such things as the difference between raw power and skill, if Mace managed to deflect Palpatine's own power back against him the later emperor can still be the most powerful force-user without gaining ground against the BMF).

So what? It's just Hidalgo doing his own shit like he always does. You silly lambs of denial will soon have your time when you are slaughtered by the truth.

One thing with the Databank updates, when they update already existing articles, it seems rushed as they often don't update the EU or BTS sections (the article on Palpatine is a good example of this).

After all, that's mostly what remained of the Jedi Order.

No. There's Dooku's statement that if Yoda drew on the dark side, Sidious would be obliterated in a confrontation, but there's no 'Yoda was faking' argument.

Only if you think that rain on your wedding fay is ironic.
Hint: It's not.

In a moment of distraction, as a native Felucian bird took wing and drew Aayla's attentions skyward, Bly and his troops opened fire, riddling Secura's body with blaster bolts and killing her.

Since the article is about the Sith killing the Jedi, it's about as ironic as an article on flowers having a picture of a rose in it.

LOL very well put, sir.
Edit:
Mace Windu's Databank entry wrote:Windu had disarmed Sidious and cornered the treacherous Sith Lord into the frame of his expansive office window.
No mention of any fight-throwing..

Nice to know that some of you "Palpatine threw the battle" crowd are still wanking it hard.

I can believe Mace bested him in lightsabre combat, but Palpatine somehow needed a breather to cast lightning properly? Please.

Sidious could have cast more lightning, but as long as Windu had his lightsaber, the Sith Lord would simlpy have scarred himself worse (ha!), possibly eventually killing himself.
He needed Anakin to get the lightsaber away from Windu, or else he was saber sushi, fair and square.

I fail to see why a full blast wouldn´t pass Windu´s sabre-defense. The guy was pushing for dear life and Palpatine didn´t look like he gave it his all, he even turned away to speak to Anakin. Just watch the ferocity of his second attack and tell me he didn´t hold back the first time.

At the risk of someone calling this a "no-limits fallacy", I doubt that any amount of lightning would have gotten Windu. Sure, Sidious wasn't giving it his all, but the limiting factor wasn't what he could throw out: the limit is that what he gave was what he had to
take. The lightning reflected on him was killing poor ol' Palps, scarring his stately good looks in horrible ways.
As long as that pretty purple saber was firmly in his grasp, ol' Mace woulda been fine. Sidious would fry
himself long, long before Windu's hefty BMF arms tuckered themselves out.

That sure sounds to me like a no-limits fallacy, that and you seem to assume that all Windu needed was his lightsabre, ignoring the fact that he was using it in conjuction with the absorb/dissipate energy skill.

by Cykeisme
Yes, but the reason why it's not is because I'm not saying Mace could take limitless strength of lightining.
Indeed, at some particular intensity of lightning, Mace would indeed have lost his lightsaber. My point is that it would be far beyond that at which Palpatine would have fried himself.

Again with the sabre...
I think you're assuming far too much, frankly.
