Present Day:

This morning, you woke up with full force powers. You have at your disposal: Mind Trick, Force Lightning, TK, and a brand new lightsaber, along with all combat worthiness to wield that lightsaber.

The lightsaber cannot be studied, imitated, used to build a turbolaser, or anything of that nature. It's a magic lightsaber. It even changes colors on command (nifty!).

Also, somewhere else on Earth, another person has been given equivalent force powers and a lightsaber. It could be any person, and any TYPE of person. You can sense the presence of each other along with approximate distance and direction. It is not absolute, but you can sense each other.

You do not know what the other looks like, or what his plans are. He's a random person in the crowd. He could be out to take over the world, or he could be a person that only desires peace. Greeting him directly, however, may place you in peril. Since he is your rough equal.

What do you do with your powers, and what do you do about the other other guy?

P.S. I would have made it a poll, but there are far too many options available, along with a bunch I probably wouldn't think of.

Okay... first, I'd "Convince" them to give me a free plane ticket to any current place in need of welfare.

And then I'd use the force to accelerate crop growth.

And I ignore the other guy 'till he becomes a threat to humanity, then I'd hunt down and kill him.

My Lightsabre would be blue btw.

Telekinesis could be used to accelerate metabolism...

I'd do that, and then of course I'd hunt down and kill every single Terrorist on the planet, it became personal when they bombed London.

I'd probaly try keep living as I did as any exessive use of the Force would a Beacon to anyone with half a brain (it's that even SW-verse let alone here).

I've never seen a Jedi demonstrate this ability. Anyone more familiar with the EU than I know if a Jedi can do that?

Apparently natural healing can be accelerated with the force... I'd imagine that the "Force Heal" can have a strong influence on the Crops.

if I lay low for most it's doutfull that, (s)he'll notice the other Force user is me and anyway I'd probaly Keep my saber with in reach all the time.

What if both me and Revan were the Force Users in question....

UK is EU country and so is Finland, aparently Geography isn't one of your strongest points.

The UK wasn't always part of the EU, it's actually a large Island to the Northwest of Europe, and it has its own laws... Amazingly, Geography was one of my strong points, I just don't like referring to the UK as Europe.

First off, I'd go hunt down Fred Phelps. Then I post here saying that I've captured him, and let you guys give me ideas on what do to next.

After that, hmm...

What is the process one needs to go about to found a new country?

Oh yes, my lightsaber would be white, fully adjustable, and look like a flashlight

I don't think we've ever been told precisely how it's done, but the force can indeed be used to make crops grow faster or better. Jedi washouts are often forced to do this.

well too bad UK is even more part of Europe then Finland (which has part Europe (pre-EU membership)Geogafically only), so saying it's it's own continent is BS at Best (BTW if we want really anal about it, even Europe is not it's own continent, but rather a very small part Eurasia) and Finland has it's own Laws as well EU is state, but Union of Sovereign countries

Oh well.. we'll continue with what we'd do as Jedi/Sith/whatever

In all seriousness, I'd cleanse the world of every last child molestor, rapist and murderer. If my counterpart would decided he wants to be evil, I'd kill him. I'd have a heads-up on him since this would be identical to Star Wars continuity Force powers, I would have used my mind trick ability to aquire a massive stockpile of weaponry, and I could mask my presence from him to get the drop on him (I doubt any non Star Wars fan would be familiar with that ability, and so wouldn't think to try).

too much trouble. That's why I would like to get my own country, install a puppet as dictator, then proceed to make it a world superpower.

With such powers, I would most likely lay low, keep on living as I normally do, perhaps using my powers to help mugger victims, car crashees, ets. I come across, and use mind trick to keep my identity secret. The reluctant hero shpiel.

As for the other guy, if he does what I do, or stays out of trouble, then I'll leave him be. Of course, if he starts going to the dark side, then I'd have to seek him out and try to stop him, perhaps not kill though unless its necissary (or if the other guy is DrkHelmet.) Joking

Indeed. That is why I would prefer to be a manipulator than anything else. I would attempt to gain control of some people who are not weak-minded, and send them in hordes to asassinate the other Jedi. Why should I risk defeat to a person roughly my strength, when I can get others to do it for me?

I would.

My first order of business would be to go Vader on the UN. And then use my, influence, to become dictator of the Earth.

As for the other force weilder, either he joins me. Or else it's me + Battle Meditation + World's Armies vs Him.
