What type of ship would you use if you were a smuggler?

I'd use a YT-2400... a freighter type modified for speed and survivability.

Gotta use my fav, the YT 2000.

Although Booster Terrik may have the advantage with a ISD.

Actually, I have come to like the Acclimator class. It carries a lot of stuff but is relatively small compared to the monster ships that we know are coming, and best of all it can land on a planet in its entirety. It's got stations for turbolasers and I'm sure it can house more if you want, and a cloak as well.

As a smuggler, I'm not interested in fighting major wars, but with ab Acclimator and some Clone or Droid warriors I could also do some mercenary work on the side...

A fully upgraded Lambda class shuttle, with weapons, armor, strong shields, jamming, bigger engines, and a cloaking device.
It would be called 'Happy Days'.

in one of the EU books, New Rebellion i think, there was a smuggler shipe based on the falcon, the only difference was the front maidibles were cut off and replaced with an A-Wing

Since the Vong control the galaxy right now, I'd go with a Vong ship, since they pretty much shoot anything else out of the sky.

Sun Crusher. Get rid of the resonance torps, and replace it with cargo room. Just try to shoot me down!

Corellian Corvette. Supposedly the things are so bloody common that the Rebellion used them because the Imps couldn't afford to stop them all, since commerce would dry up.

Scimitar from Nemesis. That cloaking device should come in handy.

Possibly a Firespray. It's a cool looking ship, we've seen it can dance, it packs a punch, and having it rotate is pretty awesome. But I'm a Fanboy, YT-1300. I'm a smuggler, so it'll be like a 67 mustang when I get done with it.
