Ships of the Imperial fleet

Thought I'd do a list of Imp capital ships: If I've missed some please add what I missed, as well as the source. I've seen the SWTC and only included the ships that are most likely canon- i.e. I have very little respect for dodgy SD variants drawn in comic books; especially those listed as 'Anonymous'. As such, only the Eclipse and Allegiance makes an appearance; both are well known and well documented by comparison; especially the Eclipse.

Eclipse-class Star Destroyer ('Super')

Sovereign-class Star Destroyer ('Super'): only belatedly included despite the complete lack of information because it is explicitly mentioned in a canon source, and a silhouette exists.

Executor-class Star Destroyer ('Super')

Allegiance-class Star Destroyer

Imperator/ Imperator II-class Star Destroyer

Victory/ Victory II-class Star Destroyer

Dreadnought-class [designation? Heavy Cruiser?]

Immobilizer 418-class Interdictor Cruiser

Loronar Strike Cruiser [Loronar being the designing corporation. Is Strike therefore the class name, or was the first ship called the Loronar?]

Carrack-class Light Cruiser

Nebulon B2-class Modified Frigate: source- TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance

Nebulon B-class Escort Frigate

Lancer-class Frigate

Assassin-class Modified Corellian Corvette: source- TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance

Corellian Corvette [class?]

Star Galleon [class?]

I missed anything?

Well we still have the Vengeance class battlecruiser, the Arc Hammer class research cruiser, and the Correlian Gunship.
The correct designation of the Correlian Corvette is CR-90, btw.

Oh and of course the Bayonet-class cruiser and the Enforcer class picket ship (an Interdictor without the grav well generators but with more armament.)

Oh and I forgot another thing, for the most comprehensive list of all Imp capships ever seen so far see

Mods you can merge the three posts if you want.

Ah yes forgot, should also include the Vengenace-class and the Doomgiver-class (Doomgiver is Admiral Fyarr's ship from JK II: Jedi Outcast)

as to the Arc Hammer; I didn't think of it so much as a research vessel but as a drop ship for the Dark Troopers?

The SWTC isn't that comprehensive- no Lancers, no Nebulons, no Loronar Strike Cruisers, no Dreadnought etc.

If you're gonna include everything, you should include everything. Also, I think ignoring the games while paying attention to the comics is a crime: the games give you MUCH better data all in all than just sketchy drawings.

The SWTC deal with the ships that have not or only insufficiently be explained by official literature.
Disregarding the games completely is idiotic and inconsequent, but you should only take the basic events and the technology shown there as canon.
For example, that'd mean we believe there was a Doomgiver, and Kyle destroyed the shield generator, but we don't believe he killed hundreds of Stormies during the process.

A (probably fan-made) picture of high quality exists,
It matches up with the silhouette perfectly, and I believe this is how the Sovereign real looks like:

Skipray Blastboat, from the Guide to Vehicles and Vessels.

I think there is an assault gunboat too, but I don't remember where that's from. :)

There is an assault gunboat (ref. X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance) but it is merely a starfighter. There are assault transports, escort transports, and stormtrooper transports, but those may be more properly placed with freighters, and therefore not among capital ships.

Yup when I compiled the list I did mean only the large warships; fighters and gunboats/ missile boats/ blast boats not included ...

I finally got around to checking the EGtVS and found out some info on the World Devestators. These ships use tractor beams to feed their molecular furnace the suface of a planet. Note, only the surface, not the core of the planet. It would take several months for one of these things to actually get done eating all the useable parts of the surface. The ships use an artifical intelligence program to to actually "grow" the ship with part of the consumed materials. The rest goes into the ship's droid factories where the materials are used to manufacture everything from fighters, dropships, droids, and starship materials. There is only one limit to what a World Devestator can build given enough time, and that is it's size. Their only weakness wqas Palpatine's fear that they might be taken from him. He installed a master control command on all of them, which Artoo- Deetwo hacked into and used to destroy them in Dark Empire 2.

The following stats are taken from the Silencer-7, the largest of the World Devestators.

World Devastator: Silencer 7
Designer: Umak Leth
Mission Type: Planetary Assault
Length: 3,200metres
Height: 1,500metres
Crew: Total Compliment: 23,684. Skeleton: 4,209. Others: 1,975 gunners, 2,000 slaves, droids 1,600
Passengers: 8,803 troops, 1,500 pilots
Cargo Capacity: 49,000 metric tons
Speed: 400 kmh [in atmosphere]
Weapons: 125 Heavy Turbolasers Batteries, 200 Blaster Cannons, 80 Proton Missile Tubes, 15 Ion Cannons, 15 Tractor Beam Emplacements

Edit~ Corrected some of the stats

I guess Imperious is their name for the Eclipse.

I also am somewhat sceptical of the validity of their "facts".

The Imperious is their replacement for the Eclipse it's not the same ship, you'll notice the two look very different. As for their facts: they're trying to make a fair fight and as a result are being extremely generous with ST.
But they have lots of cooooool pictures including the Sovereign class command ship!
