Don't know when it happened, nor if there's already a thread about it. I looked and didn't see anything on the first two pages. Anyhow, the official site databank has set the length of the
Executor class at 19,000 meters. Rejoice, ye Warsies!

Hey, the complaining on the Hyperspace board (from myself and others) actually accomplished something.
Now if only they'd fix the DS1, DS2, and AT-AT...

17.5km, still better more than less especially considering the uber minimalist TRooper numbers...

Are we complaining that it is too big? 19 Km is not hard to justify. From visuals its possible to infer that big but since the only reference for size are Star Destroyers that are not exactally the same distance away it gets hard.

The correct length was
at least 17.6 km i.e. 11 times the length of a Star Destroyer. There was always a bit of leeway in there.

It’s been fixed for ages. At least a few weeks.

About fucking time! I guess Chee or someone was pissed off by the idiot on the Lit forum who said "Because the last Databank update came after the ICS, the Databank SSD number is the latest figure and therefore correct." This is, of course, at a time during which the Databank was all RotS, all the time and NOTHING TO DO with Executor.
Now even that retarded argument is no more. Even if they won't get their act together on the Death Stars or the walkers, The Star Wars Gods have decreed 19,000 meters shalt be the length. Pity that that's the ONLY minimalist number on the Ex that they've fixed...

And they kept the "Super class" moniker to boot.

That's the lower limit; it could be larger depending on how far from it the Star Destroyers it was scaled against were. It could not, however, be any smaller.

oh yes, can some of you get them to re-name it "Executor-class Star Commandship" or "Executor-class Star Dreadnought.
there's always the Star Wars wiki

Mwa ha ha ha ha! So many years of having idiots yell about how the length on the official site must be the right one...

This will be a day long remembered: it has seen the end of the 5 mile fallacy, it shall soon see the end of the minimalists.

They are serious about this. Now if they can be serious over a few other things...

And of course, to counter this, SW:TUVG says the Death Star is 120 km and fusion powered.
But whatever, think its time we all started dropping the Starship Modeler guy a line.

ok, someone with a copy of DE handy, if the SSD is 19 KM, what's the Eclipse measure? It sure as hell isn't the 10 KM from the old Complete Guide to Weapons and Vehicles.

Eclipse is ten miles, as it says in print on the page in Dark Empire itself.
Also, that book said it was 17 kilometers (which is ten miles), and it's actual title was The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels.
