So if Joruus C'baoth is...

...a clone in Zahn's trilogy, then an interesting question is...
"If you clone a force user, than the clone will also be a force user?"
The original Jorus C'baoth was lost in the Unknown Region along with the other jedis who were sent to explore.
Somewhere in the books it's written that the "Dark Jedi", Joruus C'baoth is actually just a clone.
So if we agree that the cloned person shares all the genetical codes of the original person and the two are the SAME in every biological way, than it means the MIDICHLORIANS ARE CLONEABLE but the mental stability of the clone won't be stable!
It also means that this way midichlorians are not something mystical, only the result of some kind of genetic deformation or the product of the evolution.
Please correct me if you think it's false!

We've always known that being "strong in the Force" is a genetic trait.
"The Force is strong in my family" means exactly that.
It doesn't matter though; just having the potential to be good at something doesn't automatically make you good. And even if you are only average, you could still train your "force skills" even if it's not enough to ever become a full-blooded Jedi.
Just exchange "force potential" with "strenght" and force skill with bodybuilding, and you see what I mean.
Midichlorians, as microscopic living organisms, aren't mystic. Their connection to the Force is.
Are they created by the Force? Is the Force created by it?
I would have to answer no on both questions. The Force is created by life. Stones can move, even though they have no midis.
Do midichlorians form your connection with the Force, so that it determines your maximum potential for how much you could listen to it and influence it?
Yes would be my answer.
However, though your conclusion seem correct at the surface, you should think about this quote; "Without the midi-chlorians, life could not exist, and we would have no knowledge of the Force."
As in ALL life, unversally.. or at least, the entire galaxy.
Actually, I don't think there's anything more to add to this subject than what Qui-Gon already said:
"QUI-GON : Midi-chlorians are a microcopic lifeform that reside within all living cells and communicates with the Force.
ANAKIN : They live inside of me?
QUI-GON : In your cells. We are symbionts with the midi-chlorians.
ANAKIN : Symbionts?
QUI-GON : Life forms living together for mutual advantage. Without the midi-chlorians, life could not exist, and we would have no knowledge of the Force. They continually speak to you, telling you the will of the Force.
ANAKIN : They do??
QUI-GON : When you learn to quiet your mind, you will hear them speaking to you.
ANAKIN : I don't understand.
QUI-GON : With time and training, Annie...you will."

In the case of Joruus, he was not simply cloned from a simple strand of DNA; he was grown from some of the original's cells, which included his midichlorians, obviously. Presumbably, when a cell reproduces, midichlorians reproduce along with it, somewhat like mitochondria (TPM hinted at the possibility that midichlorians either are or are very similar to mitochondria). It still doesn't mean that one's midichlorians depend on the genetic makeup of the user.
While there is no evidence that either the Force or midichlorians is genetic, it does appear that if you reproduce the living material of a force user, sexually or through cloning, the daughter cells will have comparable powers and midichlorians. Also, don't discount the power of the Force. It may have some degree of sentience which allows it to control and regulate force power.

Also, your degree of force sensitivity does not depend on your midichlorians. Your number of midichlorians depends on your force sensitivity.

I seem to recall that the leaked script of AotC said the Kaminoans originally wanted a force user. I think the Novelisation does also.

The C'boath clone went nuts because he was grown too quickly IIRC.
And he Force can also show up in a clone when the original had no potential (Dorsk 81).

I dont recall the novel saying anything about the cloners wanting a
Force user. Then again...maybe I just don't recall it.

Mr. Wong proved that the Force isn't linked to genetics in his AOTC analysis. Also, like IG-88E said, a clone can have Force potential even if the original didn't. It's possible that the Force just chose to give Joruus and Luuke (what is this guy's obsession with extra u's?) powers.

The novelisation of AOTC did mention the possibilty of getting a Jedi donor.

FYI, the extra U is given to clones of the original, as Thrawn noticed after meeting Joruus.

Yeah but what happens if the name doesn't have a "u" in it?! Would a clone of me be, "Joue" or "Juoe" or "Joeu"??? wtf?

Good question, all I can remember is Thrawn saying the extra U is given to clones. I don't know about other letters.

Why is it assumed that midichlorians "produce" Force Sensitivity...it appears a bit harder then that. It seems to me they act as a bridge between the Force and the force user....but I think that Force Sensitive individuals attract midis...rather then the other way around. Genetically "close" beings appear to be predisposed toward force sensitivity, but it seems somewhat haphazard.

My guess is that you just pick a vowel, eg IRG CommandoJooe or Darth Yooshi, or something like that.
