Who would make a good young Tarkin (pre ANH Grand Moff)?
I'm putting my money on Jude Law.

I'd rather not see a young Tarkin in Episode 3. There isn't any compelling reason to and it'd be very hard to find an actore to match Peter Cushing.

Not too mention Lucas' stance on orginialty in the Prequels. He has not brought any characters exceot for the nessecary ones and a few more. I'd doubt Tarkin be in Episode III.

How long did it take to build the DeathStar?

About or less then a year.
I'd just like to see David Warner in Eps. III, but that's just me.

I think Tarkin will be in Episode III.
By that time he will wrote his doctrine and must be in a high position in the senate or in an other bureau to be later a Grand Moff.

Hmmm. Not sure. How many years is it before ANH?? If Cushing has a younger cousin or brother who's also an actor, then we might be able to get him to do it.
Or what about finding a less-known actor (but still a skilled one) who bears a striking resemblance to Cushing??

I always thought Jude Law looks like Cushing.

Jude Law would be awesome. We could find out why Tarkin gets to hold Vader's leash.

Jude Law would be far too young. We need someone older. I'll have to think of someone.

... erm ....
.... ah .....
Gabriel Byrne.
He's cool. That's my criteria.
Jeremy Irons? There's another cool one. He can redeeem himself for the D&D travesty.
