Could anyone redirect me to that thread where they posted the size comparisons of various Republic ground vehicles? Or post the pic here? You know, the one comparing the various vehicles, the one with the big ass Juggernaut pic.

Hrmmm... could anyone give me the dimensions of the A6, that giant Juggernaut that's far larger than its smaller cousin, the A5? That bigass one in VT-16's comparison pic.

The A6:

Length 49.4 meters
Height 30.4 meters

The A5:

Length 21.8 meters
Height 15 meters

You guys sure that's 50 meters? It looks far bigger. It looks colossal!

It's a tank droid, which appeared in Dark Empire. Basically a mobile turbolaser with support weapons.

I think I first saw it mentioned on Mike's main page.

EDIT: Going over the A6, I see it is actually a little above 50 m from one end to the other (counting the tip of a laser cannon), if the height is 30.4 m. :P

A harder way is to actually round off the height of the clonetrooper and... yeah, you know what to do

I think I had those pegged at 1.7 m. Though that may not be Morrison's exact height.

Either way, the lengths and heights don't always add up due to differences between what the writers think they are and what the artists draw them as.

Hell, I think someone even measured an in-movie A6 to be almost 34 meters tall, based on BARC speeders next to it. (I'm a bit dubious on the exactness of that, btw.)

I think it's only 30m tall with that big mast that holds the sentry extended. Anyway, I'm pretty sure clonetroopers are quite tall- no way they're only 170cm.

Yeah, I included the highest point on every vehicle, including the masts.

The Clonetrooper size was just a guesstimate anyway, and had no effect on the vehicle-sizes, just the comparison between a human and the vehicles.

So the Clonetrooper isn't up to scale?!

IIRC, the clonetroopers are 1.78 meters according to the ROTS:VD (while later stormtroopers are said to measure 1.80).

I think the scale I used had them between 1.70 and 1.80 (hard to judge small pixel-size lengths). I'd say they're pretty much up to scale as is.
