Can someone please give me details on the power/effect/radius of the force walls used by the Jedi/Dooku in the AOTC novelization, where did they use it apart from there and could it be used agaisnt non force users?

Anakin also threw one up against a Tusken spear that was hurled at him in the AotC novelization. He was the one who used it against Dooku in the duel, incidentally.

That doesnt answer my question, could it be used, say to stop someone in place or to trip someone, can it be smashed by damage or the force, how hard is it to maintain etc...?

Luke used a Force wall to cross a river of Lava in the first Jedi Accademy book

303, it's an application of TK. That's it. It pushes things. Join the dots.

he's asking what quantifiable limits does it have, not what it is though. And sinec you can walk across lava on it, it must not be 'pushing things' as it seems considerably more solid.

I'm curious to this too, people bring up force-walls but having never read the novel some of us have no idea what that means. Its not like Jedi TK which i think has been thoroughly quantified here before.

I meant the force wall application that keeps being bought up as a counter to the Flash disemboweling a Jedi in a picosecond in the reaction time thread over in fantasy.

Then you debate it there, dumbfuck.

Locking thread.

EDIT: As for quantification, WHAT do you want quanitified. Heat transfer, resistence, what...asking such a broad statment of "is it quantified?" is pointless bullshit. Who knows where to start.

The answer is yes in some ways it has been in the manner of how much resistence it can impart. Look up Crown's, Connor's and Durandal's dissection of AoTC fall. That gives you an excellent starting place of Anakin as a Padawan, with the Force Shroud in place of how strong this wall can become.
