The PETA in the Star Wars universe!!

Post by Peregrin Toker »

Yep - what would the annoying-as-ever, over-the-top animal rights organization get of strange ideas in the Star Wars universe???

First - I think they would be very, very mad at the Yuuzhan Vong....

I also think they wouldn't be too happy about the Geonosians either...

(Or, for that mattter, the Gungans...)

They would petition to rename the Milelnium Falcon, because it makes the falcon look ugly. After two days, they would be shot on spot by Imperial Troops.

Their planet would serve as the first testing grounds for the Death Star.

They team up with the ACLU, and argue that droids should recieve same benefits as others have. Then they argue that Jabba's treatment of his rancor is inhumane.

They'd also demand that the Trade Federation should have won the battle of Naboo since the Gungans used Fambaa lizards to carry their shield generator...

Actually it is revealed in The Courtship of Princess Leia that the rancors are sentient beings. So it was cruel to treat it like an animal that has emotions and could think like other advanced aliens in SW. I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but I am assuming you didn't...

Whoops, I meant to say: "So it was cruel to treat it like an animal, not like a sentient being that has emotions and could think like other advanced aliens in SW."

PETA in the SW universe would attack Darth Vader for wearing leather. This would lead to a new definition of pain and suffering for them.

LOL Yeah, they'd probably start their own Rebellion against the Empire and the Rebels...

To tell you the truth, Palpy arrenged a meeting between the Empire and these previously mentioned organizations.

There were two minor problems:

1. The meeting was on Alderaan

2. Palpy sent Tarkin to negotiate

That's all folks...

They'd probably also accost the Kaminoans for cloning innocent animals without their consent, and sue Jabba the Hutt for giving slugs a bad name....
