I've been tempted to do this for quite awhile now....

All things being equal...

I'd have to go with Telekenesis, only because Im lazy and I would never have need to leave my easy chair. You think Yoda floats around because he's old?

Difficult choice. I voted Force lighting, because, being able to shoot lighting out of your hands would be fun, and intimidating. On the other hand being able to levitate, move things with your mind and force choke people would be equally cool.

Telekinesis. It seems to be the most robust and useful of all the powers. Especially at high levels.

I imagine myself like this:

The mind trick, good making affordable purchases and getting laid.

Telekinesis, i'd take my power to the beach and make babes bikini's fall off. The Mind Trick would be a close second "You will take off your clothes and hump me"

I would go for the Jedi mind trick. Then you could get the hottest babalicous girl in all the galaxy to be your girlfriend. I would also use it on the guy at the porsche dealership to give me a 996 twin turbo.

Force lightning. It seems to be the strongest offensive force power, and it's just soooo cool.

I think telekinesis, and then ESP. With telekinesis, I could win all of the money being offered for someone who demonstrates an actual psychic phenomena. With ESP, I could pick stocks and such. It's a tough choice, but then you remember that with telekinesis you can easily eliminate your enemies. I go with TK.

You can gamble with TK as well. Look at Qui-Gon in TPM with the chance cube. It just takes a bit of practice.

YOu think in the SW galaxy a prosecuting attorney can convict a Jedi for Rape on the grounds that he "mind tricked her?" Its just that will all the plans some of these guys have I should be a defense attorney specializing in Jedi.....

Choking people from long disances would be so handy right now, i'd get rid of my anthropology professor unless he cncelled tonights final.

Oh but killing is wrong peope come on now, you can only publicly say you want to kill people when they are famous or prominent political figures.

The thing is that the mind trick only works on the weak-minded. A defense could be brought up that the mind trick is no more than a really good pick up line. If she didn't want it, she would have been strong-minded enough to be able to resist the mind trick.

Mind control. As Bean siad overtaking the world at the whim of a thought is supreme.

gotta go whith telekenesis because i could change the channel whithout even using a remote or type these posts using only the power of my mind (i know i certanly am the epotmiy of lazyness) plus i could get all A's in school i know that that would be much easier whith the "mind trick" but the "force choke" method would be so much more fun

Telekinesis has many more uses beyond levitating and choking. You can push and pull objects as well. So that means you'd never have to worry about being shot because you could stop the bullets. You could join a military service and be unstoppable in a war. Not to mention saving other's lives as well. Or you could do the same as a law enforcement agent. You could move everything around the room at your will like Vader did. You could cook and clean and do daily chores with no effort at all. You could break up fights. You could do any physical thing you could possibly think of with little or no effort involved.

Honestly, I'd say Other (Heal Other.) Telekinesis is a way cool power, but I know I don't have the ethical standards and sheer Zen-like control and serenity of Qui-Gon to use the power properly -- quintuply so for 'mind trick!'

So I'd remove any chance of gross abuse of power by myself, by going for Heal Other. You really can't go wrong with it; and if there was someone who I really thought should not be healed, I could just say 'I'm sorry, but no.' (Yes, I suppose they could hold a gun to my head, but if they're looking for MY help in healing them, I really doubt they're going to be in much condition to press the issue; and I'd just have to hope that I'd have the moral fortitude to say 'no' even in the face of impending death.)

While Force Lightning is cool, I prefer telekinetic type moves. Think Yoda vs. Dooku, or Jedi Outcast's Grip power and the ability to jump Matrix style. Mind Trick is good, but it isn't as versatile as Telekinesis.
