TESB observations

I made two observations,that I wondering about.

1.Hoth wampa
In the wampa ice cave, the wampa front is splattered with blood. However, when Han slashes open a tauntaun,no blood spills out. What gives?

2.Boba Fett
When Vader briefs the bounty hunters,he states"You are free to use any methods neccesary, but I want them alive. No disintergrations"
The last appears to be specifically spoken to Bobba fett.Bobba Fett is also the only one to reply.

Can this conjure up a previous history of Bobba Fett killing his victims?

There's a related topic dude!

"No desintegration!"

Search for it, I've left an answer there for your question related Boba.

On the other hand the cauterization seems to failed in the Wampa scene...

As for the first part of your question, IIRC the blood in question was prelavant before Luke sliced and diced. The Wamapa was having a mean at the time, and it appears that he/she is a messy eater.

1. The lightsaber may cauterize wounds in some way. There was no blood when it was used in AOTC. However, in ANH during the arm severing scene, there was blood.

It is rather ambiguous on that.

The heat generated by a lightsaber must be enough to cauterize injuries. It melted through the blast doors in TPM. It is a bit interesting, however, as the Tauntaun's blood is almost certainly designed to remain fluid at temperature extremes. Ordinarily that is done on Earth by using specific chemicals to lower the freezing point, and by using unsaturated fats in the extremities instead of the more typicals ones found in most animals. It would be unusual for such materials to stop flowing at high temperatures. If anything, this only further raises the energy requirement of lightsabers, but it is strange in light of the liquid blood in ANH. One would expect an aqualine race to have blood that cauterizes at a lower temperature than a creature living on an ice world.

Might depend on the blade used, the cut, and the difference in species.

We aren't given a specific incident to go with that line as far as I know. It's speculated by a few that he was refering to Boba toasting a Jedi he knew.

And Boba Fett has a strange code of honor and is prone to kill those he despised and has MAJOR grudge against Han Solo. Plus, he tends to leave carnage and chaos in his wake.

Perhaps Jango's grudge is for Han screwing over his friend, Dengar. But it's probably a personal encounter.

Whatever happened to the "It's just a job" mentality in bounty hunting? I think I liked it better, that way.

I see NO evidence of Boba Fett having a MAJOR personal grudge with Han Solo. The only problem Fett would have with Solo would be his killing him when he was BLIND. LOL

That's the way it usaully is with Boba. In most cases you see him treat it exactly that way; a bit rough on the merchandise but never seeing them as anything more.

With Solo, I have to reconsider. It's not a grudge so much as Solo's escaped have goaded Fett on. And of course the Sarlaac thing can't have helped/ It's just over the years become a pride thing because Solo and Co. have evaded him. I think it's more a challenge than a grudge.

Well, its nice and dandy to say that the lightsabre cauterises the wound. But when Han cut up that Tauntuan,he cut open the abodomen. We see its guts spill out.
There's got to be blood or something in that creature!Especially in the digestive system!
Though of course,Han could have sewn through the Tauntaun equivalent of the large intestine, that will explain the smell  .

That doesn't explain the cauterization in the Cloud City fight, or in AOTC.

???

Lightsabres do cauterise wounds. But,I'm just wondering about the biology of that Tauntaun. Why is it that there's no blood it its body? After all,Han cut it up and dumped its innards on the snow.
