Death Star over Mustafar

I did a search but didn't find anything on this topic, so I either didn't look hard enough or there really wasn't anything. Did anyone else notice the Death Star schematics in the control room on Mustafar?
Right after Anakin and Obi-wan blast each other with their force pushes, Anakin lands on a control panel, and right above him is a schematic similar to the one Gen. Dodanna had in A New Hope.
There's another data screen in the control room that shows a large sphere (presumably Mustafar) orbited by two smaller spheres.

This piece of concept art is particularly nice, since it shows a schematic similar to Dodonna's again, with an arrow drawn by the artist to the sky over a volcano.

Hmm, is this some subtle hint the Separatists were constructing their "Ultimate Weapon" in that system?

The Death Star doesn't appear to be located in the Mustafar system when we see it at the end. Looks like its in deep space to me.

It could be a matter of perspective. After all, we never actually see Sullust in ROTJ, despite the fact that the fleet is quite close to it.

As I'm recalling, we see a scene at the end of RotS from two perspectives, and in neither is there a definite shadow, which would imply the "Great Weapon" is not being constructed in-system.

No, we only see it from the bridge of the SD, which could easily be sunward of it, thus the shadow would be on the side opposite of them.

Death Star schematics
People, a schematic is just that, a plan. And plans aren't made right exactly where you're going to be building something. No, the Geonosians made the plans, the Geonosians tranported the plans to CIS secret HQ, and the plans where then taken from Secret HQ in the middle of nowehere to someone who can take those secret plans and turn them into something.

I read something in one of the ICS or Incredible Locations books about the Death Star being built over a penal planet, which was the first planet destroyed by the superlaser. I'll see if I can find it.

So are you also claiming KDY has its primary design centers located outside of Kuat? And pay attention, I never said they made the plans there, that was obvious it was Geonosis.
It does however, help to keep the plans on location for wherever you're building something.

Despayre (sp?)
That's actually from a source far older than the ICS, although I don't recall where.

Both can still fit, since didn't Saxton come to the conclusion that the Death Star we saw in the movie isn't the Death Star from ANH?

Incredible Locations, I believe. I'll check it when I get a chance.

No, you didn't say that, but others have. And unless you squash stupid remarks as soon or soon after they're made, those stupid remarks seem to find each other and breed.

WEG's Death Star Technical Compedium, IIRC.

Companion, more precisely.
I don't see what's the deal about the image at SW.com. And I'll have to personally check my DVD to see this supposed "Death Star," frankly...

Because it clearly shows the station in orbit over the planet.

Where? All I see are what could be moons of Mustafar, or even Mustafar itself. Just part of the graphical display. Heck, even the little text note under it doesn't look like it could be read as "Death Star:" more like a single, six-letter word or some such.
Oh, and I checked the shot on the DVD. I don't see what could be interpreted as the Great Weapon there, either. Just circular stuff that could be moons or just part of the display, or even indicating locations on the planet itself.
I can't see how or even why they could be interpreted as a Death Star...
I request proof in the form of screencaps of both images, with the relevant information indicated, otherwise I can only interpret them as fantasy.

If in fact the two moons are Death Stars as opposed to natural moons (something I doubt very strongly), that would eliminate the problem of why it took 20 years to build DS1 and only 4 to build the much larger DS2. In addition, there would actually be some geniuen aesthetic value to having the original construction site of the two stations be Mustafar, in otherwords, a hellish weapon coming from a hellish world.
So while I agree with Spanky (gah!) that what is being commented on here is almost certainly not the Death Stars, I would also say that if Lucas does do a Special Edition of ROTS, it might be a change worth implementing.

To the first paragraph, I present this, cut out of the concept art and enlarged. Notice the red circle I put around the aperature, the thing resembles the DS blueprints Dodanna had.
As to the screenshots, I'll get those as soon as I figure out how.

We also see in the movie that Mustafar itself is a moon of another planet, so it'd be unlikely for a moon to have two natural moons of itself. The only real problem is that the schematic images don't have the superlaser aperature in the right place, but neither did the plans the Rebel alliance had either. How was that discrepancy reconciled anyway?

Offically, the DS1 was contructed over Despayre, an out of the way prisoner world (and not a very pleasent place, for what its worth). There is nothing in the movie to contradict this, especially not this screenshot. The images could be anything.

Okay, checking Complete Locations, Mustafar has no moons. I still refuse to believe anything is proof of there being a Death Star in the system.
Second, you're definately in the realm of fantasy, Jadeite. You think that resembles or is indicative of a Death Star? That? You have highlighted two concentric circles with three lines connecting them. That's it.
I thought you were actually refering to something else completely, because that didn't even CROSS my mind. It's looks more like some feature on the planet being indicated, and nothing like a superlaser aperature. that's not a Death Star, that's Mustafar.
You're on crack, my friend...

Well, apparently since things need to be bludgeoned into your mind, let's compare shall we?
ZOMG they're the same!

No they're not!! They do not resemble each other at all, other than the fact that both are ROUND!! This bullshit is borderline delusional.
Jesus, are you fucking blind, or did you just suddenly catch a major case of stupid?

"Bludgeoned into your mind"? Fuck, speak for yourself...
I didn't know how stupid you could be, but apparently we're finding out.
Let's see, we know from Complete Locations that Mustafar has no moons.
Second, we know that Mustafar itself is a moon, orbiting close enough that the planet would take up most of the sky if the Seperatist HQ had been in an area to view it.
Proof:

Third, we saw Anakin watching something eclipsing the sun. Since it's too small to be the planet, and since the moon itself has no moons, it's artificial.
Fourth, I don't know how you could be that damn stupid to say that they look nothing alike. Any retarded fourth grader would be able to tell you that they do.

Quite honestly,
this doesn't look like something that could really eclipse the sky that well, unless it was in incredibly close orbit.
Fourth, I don't know how you could be that damn stupid to say that they look nothing alike. Any retarded fourth grader would be able to tell you that they do.
I don't see it either frankly. Sure, there is a basic resemblance, but beyond that, they're just a pair of circles with a another circle on them. Besides, if the ROTS image was the DS, why are the two other objects smaller than it? Are you proposing the DS itself has moons?
