ok I've almost finnished KOTOR2(for the second time) and one of Darth Nihilus' servants (spoiler)it's Col. Tobin says that the Ravager (an odd name for a (ex-)Republic ship) is held together only by the power of Dark Lord of Hunger (aka Darth Nihilus)
which would explain why the ship is still somewhat functional dispate looking like a wreck (it's destroyed by 4 charges that aren't powerfull enough to kill a Mandalorian trooper if they detonate in the wrong place(said charge was either carried by or was near the trooper when it went off)).
also it's quite clear that Ravager is larger then a regular Sith cruiser (possibly even larger then an ISD).
it was an Republic design as it was present at Malachor V (the place of the Last battle of the Mandalorian Wars) so unlike the Sith fighters it couldn't have a Sith design (using non-republic designs at that time would have raised questions that Revan didn't want to anwser).
Some observations about the Ravager.

Re: Some observations about the Ravager.
Clear from what, exactly? The only thing possibly suggesting that is the shape and relative size of the bridge tower, and it's not exactly KDY standard. It's more likely to be 6-800 m, being generous. It doesn't have any noticeable hangar or fighters to speak of, and all we can tell about it's armament is that it has torpedoes.Lord Revan wrote:also it's quite clear that Ravager is larger then a regular Sith cruiser (possibly even larger then an ISD).

the cutscenes show that it's clearly larger then the 600 m Sith Cruisers (the "Leviathan"-class) (it's in formation with those ship during the attack on Telos)nightmare wrote:Clear from what, exactly? EDIT:As far as I know we can't just how big the Ravager is other then that it's 600+ m

It looks to me like the Ravager is ~2 times the length of the Leviathan class. Since the latter is 600m, I think it is no stretch that the Ravager is about the size of a Star Destroyer, the difference being negligible. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to take a screenshot, so someone who knows what they are doing will have to back me up on this one (or refute me, as the case may be).

Re: Some observations about the Ravager.
Those ships aren't lined up with the Ravager - it's not really possible to get a good estimate from it from what I saw. But alright, I'll have a second look at it if I play it again.Lord Revan wrote:the cutscenes show that it's clearly larger then the 600 m Sith Cruisers (the "Leviathan"-class) (it's in formation with those ship during the attack on Telos)
