Star Wars today...

Post by Bug-Eyed Earl »

When thinking about how we're so used to the actors in the OT that we can't imagine any other actors, then or now, who can play these characters.

But what if George Lucas never got around to making SW until now?

Who could play the characters now?

Or are they irreplacable?

I don't know. Anthony Daniels can still pull it off.

No no no, I got that from a skit on SNL or Mad TV, about the auditions for Star Wars, for C-3PO, they had ichard Dreyfuss, for Obi Wan, they had Christpher Walker.

Christopher Walken (?spelling?) as Tarkin. Or the Emperor. Give the Emperor a little ummm... Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea, but I think it'd be damned cool to hear and see Christopher Walken perform as the Emperor. :)

Matt Damon as Luke Skywalker. He looks a little old for such a young character, but he did well enough in "Saving Private Ryan."

More to follow... Maybe

Malcom McDowell as Tarkin.

"Now then, my deah young Princess Leia. If my droogy-droog stormtroopers haven't been able to drag the information out of you, perhaps it's time to do some of the ol' ultra-violence 'pon your snarking little world of... Alderaan."
The Jedi asked, "What is balance for me as a servant of the Light?" The Master replied,"Balance is not what you seek. For you it is accepting that destruction is a part of the universe."
