Novel in the EU which do not have Jedi!
Can anyone ention a *good* book in the EU which has no Jedi. This is because, as near as I can tell, most writers use the Jedi as a literary mallet - you whack the audience with Jedi when they get bored.

There is one novel about Wedge and his merry band of pilots, Starfighters of Adumar or something, the only thing I know is that it's written by Aaron Allston wich speaks volumes for me.Smiling Bandit wrote:and I didn't really like the fist one. The X-wing series was good, but it got better when Aaron Allston started writing. All of his contained no Jedi. Well, he had gforce sensative people(I think), but no lightsabers.

I think what you're asking for is something of moderation.
That's why I like Tim Zahn's book. He doesn't create some sort of "impossible" situation and then say "..but wait! Luke's here! He'll BDZ this thing and we'll all live happily ever after" he repeatedly has Mara Jade taunting Luke for his overuse of the force.

Yeah. Wraith Squadron is entirely lacking in that department.
Unless you count Tyria's (or something) force abilities. And Corran Horn made a brief appearence.

Well, I don't think she counts... her force abilities weren't used in the Plot Level capacity.

But she did use them. Saved Kell, helped Denos or something, and found a secret camera in a mission

Oh. I completely forgot.

He's a bitch. Death would be too easy for him.
