George Lucas's Star Trek

If Lucas had created Star Trek, with the same premise: Admiral James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise explores the galaxy in the 23rd Century, what would it be like? Just keep that basic premise. You can either make this about what George Lucas's version of the ST universe would be about, what Star Trek would be like if it was adapted for the Star Wars universe (circa 1977, so no EU elements such as an expedition to the farther regions), or something completely different but with Lucas's style and the basic premise. Note that USS does not have to mean Federation, or even Earth, necessarily.

Yes. Because it's clear all of us can read the mind of George Lucas and can answer such an absurdly far ranging question...

It would also be less Egalitarian, and (most of) the men wouldn't wear dresses to formal functions.

And this thread does not belong in PSW. Or anywhere, for that matter.
