CAn someone tell me a little about them?
I mean, are they like species 8472?
Someone actually mentioned they have rock ships and blackhole weapons?
I really dont know much about them and I thought the best place to ask is right here!

Yes. They are the craprastic biowank equivalent of S8472 in SW. They suck. They are from NJO. This is all you need to know if you don't like biowank. If you enjoy biowank, however, you can just read the NJO instead of seeing summaries and such.
