Can Jedis fly?

We've seen Luke Skywalker, Qui-gon and Obi-wan take very large acrobatic leaps, but can a jedi apply the levitation effect to himself and fly...Superman style?

According to the EU, powerful Jedi can levitate in a limited fashion, but apparantly its somewhat draining. I've never heard of a Jedi being capable of true flight on his own.

Suffice it to say, Jedi can "fly" for very short periods of time, but it is an enormously tiring and demanding skill.
