Let's Map a Star Destroyer!
Anyone interestred in mapping out the interior of a Star Destroyer? From the EU, there are many parts of the SD described. I have some here:

I haven't completed my PDD-ing of "Heir to the Empire" yet, but there's a few clues there as well. "Dark Force Rising" and "Vision of the Future" also have some good bits on the interior. Anyone have more?

Well, the ICS, obviously...
DFR should be particularly vital concerning the docking/ship storage facilities on an ISD, although when I read that entire section of the book (about 6-7 years ago: I should read the entire trilogy again sometime), I thought it was a little confusing.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

I shall assist in any way I can.
I suggest we start with cannon, we only really have the bridges and possibly some shots of the docking bay, and one of a laser cannon/ltl control room.

I remember there being a bunch of stuff in Darksabre concerning junk like escape pods or something.
So, are there going to be images made of the possible layout of systems? I'm actually excited about how it'll turn out already.

Darksaber (hardcover)
pg.132: Daala squinted out the viewport, and suddenly she saw a whirlwind of tiny lights appear, marking deck after deck on a breathtakingly huge ship. The immense wedge shaped shadow was a single vessel, larger than anything she had ever seen before.
"I can't believe it," Pellaeon said beside her. "Only the Executor was this big -- and that one ship practically bankrupted the Empire."
"What is it?" Daala asked.
Cronus smiled, his expressive face showing his obvious enjoyment at her reaction--but it was Pellaeon who answered. "It's a Super Star Destroyer," he said.
Cronus nodded eagerly. "Worth twenty Imperial Star Destroyers," he said, his eyes flashing with pride. "It is eight kilometers long, can carry a crew of up to a hundred thousand--and is plated with stealth armor. That's why it appeared as only a black shadow as we approached. Though gigantic, it is virtually invisible to enemy forces." He lowered his voice as if imparting a precious secret. "We named it the Night Hammer."
I stole this from Poe's page. Sucks dude.
The Executor could NOT have 'bankrupt' the Empire. Especially if it is only 8km. The Empire built not one, but TWO Death Stars (one of which was larger and more powerful than the first dreaded Death Star), and did this in a relatively short amount of time. I know KJA is shit, but still. Thought this should be pointed out.

MAkes me wish TIE Fighter still worked on my comp, I wouldn't mind mapping the exterior of a few of Admiral Zaarin's ISD's with a TIE-ADV heheh

There was a mission on the Executor.

I was at first. Then I began thinking about a Quake or VGR "Elite Force" level to walk around, or hell, even a Jedi Knight level.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I remember there being a bunch of stuff in Darksabre concerning junk like escape pods or something.

There's plenty of Elite Force mods which allow you to "tour" the E-D and Kirk's Enterprise.
But I'm not a map maker. So I'll try to whip up an image map or something.
I do:Publius wrote:The computer game TIE Fighter ought to give a good idea of the hangar and other flight-related areas of the Star Destroyer.
Also, if you have access to The Stele Chronicles, it gives some ideas of the "feel" of the Star Destroyer's innards.

I also have the stratagy guide which fleshes out the story more, but haven't had time to fully PDD it!
