Well, I think the site's name summarizes the project succinctly.

I don't see how those captions are particularly humourous or clever. In most cases they really have nothing at all to do with the original story, so they fail as satire. In order to satirize something, you're supposed to poke fun at flaws in the original, not just replace the original with totally unrelated jabber.

The website is clearly indicatie of this person's talents. As for the title...takes a moron to think this is how it should have been.

I actually found it pretty funny.

And I'm sure somone will make a satire about star wars, pointing out the flaws eventually.

Most of it is nothing more then "LOL dirty words!", but a few images are funny - the R2 suicide, the three-frame kiss.

Okay everyone, go to the first Star Wars parody (ANH) and read until the scene where Vader is holding a member of the Tantative IV's crew (the captain?) by the neck and interrogating him. If you're not laughing, then stop reading as you're not going to like the rest of it.

It's all juvenile humour. The type that male teenagers like me think is the funniest shit on Earth.

Eh, it wasn't exactly hilarious, but it made me giggle. Something about Princess Leia being a crazed racist is just perversely funny.

Why? I can understand if you don't think it's funny, not everyone likes juvenile jokes about racism and sex. But condeming everything on the website merely because of a few stupid articles is rather unfair.

I've seen quite a bit of the website, and it all strikes me as being the same inferior idiot quality, so my opinion that anything that comes from that site is unfunny, idiotic bullshit is quite fair.

And seriously, what the hell is up with that Obi-wan caption? That isn't funny simply because it doesn't make any sense. That and it lacks any connective context and has no punchline.

"Jew" is aparently used as a substitute for an actual joke when you're an unfunny creatively-bankrupted idiot.

Quite frankly, that flash cannot be expressed in a few captions. And Battlehymn's captions were poorly picked since almost all of them depend on context within the story.

Anyway, it's juvenile humour: racism, sex, gay sex, rape, etc. In my opinion the ANH one is funnier.

It was shit, but I got a chuckle from their "Top 10 worst bands" segment.

There was a lot of dumb racist jokes, but some of it was funny, like the "Kill Luke" subplot.

What references? She's anti-semitic, that's all there's too it. If you don't think it's funny, then you don't think it's funny, I already said that this "parody" is not for everyone.

What Battlehymn was trying to say was that, if snap shot is taken of a person saying certains words, most prominently "you", it can look as if said person might be saying "Jew". So Leia's racist remarks often seem to match the screencap of her.

I was amused by the "Oh Snap" frame, but that's due to a combination of the still used and Ein's German engineer animation.

And Vader saying "No, it's cool. I've just been under a lot of stress lately, and some of the guys think I've been killing the crew a little too much" amused me also.

Other than that, it was pretty stupid.
