Given the heavy influence on Star Wars and the Jedi by Kurosawa and the samurai, it only makes sense to have at least one prominent asian Jedi.

And I'd cast Morgan Freeman as Mace Windu, not Samuel L. Motherfucking Jackson.

Morgan Freeman doesn't really fit the style of Mace Windu's character like Jackson does. Freeman would be more of a Yoda type of Jedi master. Wise and generally not aggressive, but still able to kick your ass if you force a fight.

Provided he wasn't dead of course. I'd cast him mainly because it'd be a good contrast to his work as The Master & you could have a good ambiguous angle about his motives which ultimately result in saving the day.
