Boba Fett vs. Jango Fett

Post by OmegaGuy »

Who would win in a fight between Boba Fett (as of the beginning of ROTJ) and Jango Fett (as of the beginning of AOTC)?

For the purposes of the fight they aren't aware of each other's identities.

Based solely on the movies? Jango, no doubt. He can fight toe to toe with the best of the Jedi.

Boba on the other hand apparently can't even manuver his rocket pack and got his ass handed to him by a blind guy with a stick. ;)

EU wise. Didn't KT just have Boba punch out God?

Jango. Hands down.

...why the hell would they be fighting?! They're father and fucking son/clone!

If Boba found out that Jango had somehow survived being beheaded (I cannot believe that I just typed out the preceding phrase), then why would they do anything other than have a joyful reunion?

Because both of them have been resurrected and brainwashed to fight each other by an omnipotent space hamster.

The reason doesn't matter, I just want to know who would win.

Jango kills Boba.
However Boba's death puts an end to his fanwank. So because Jango only exists because of Boba fanwank he causes a time paradox and ceases to exist.

Winner: Me. Cause I hate Boba freaking Fett.

They're the same goddamn person; it's a draw and it comes down to luck.

Jango, it is hard for me to pick Boba in this one because Jango taught Boba everything he knew.

Also, how old is Jango in AoTC? A few years of aging might make the difference either way. If Boba is 9 as of AoTC (22BBY) and RoTJ takes place 4 years after Yavin, then we're looking at Boba being at least 35 years old.

Edit:

If this date i'm seeing is right and Jango was born on Concord Dawn in 66 BBY then he's 44 as of AoTC. I may have to change my guess because i'm not sure that ten years added experience is going to make up for ten years of aging in a situation that will ultimately call for good reflexes and strength. Buth maybe it doesn't, i'm still unsure.

Edit #2: Spelling and typoes fixed.

That's rather ignorant. Simply because someone is a clone doesn't make them "the same goddamn person". The training they recieve and the experiences they have make them unique individuals.

Indeed. For example Boba does not send other bounty hunters out to do his job for him, and Jango does not scream like a sissy as far as we know.
