Looking for a quote on the Home One as a battleship.

Apparently, my solution to the Home One problem was not accepted on Wookiepedia, as I called the article that covered all Home One vessels: MC80a battleship (to differentiate from MC80a Star Cruiser).

I'm wondering what the exact quote in Rebel Alliance Scrapbook is, since AdmiralNick22 or whatever doesn't believe it exists. Haven't read the book since the late 90s and I can't find it, but I do remember it was called a 'battleship'. If someone can find the actual quote, I'd be grateful.

Not familure with the quote your looking for, but classifying it as a Starcruiser while thinking of the Stardestroyer sized vessels as lower tier cruisers, makes sense too.

If they've been called lowercase "cruiser" with MC-whatever in front of them in a source, that might also work if there's a problem. :)

In The Last Command on pg. 291 it says:
Orders: we're going in with the first wave, flanking Admiral Ackbar's Command Cruiser.
And in X-wing: Isard's Revenge on pg. 8 it says:
Just got a recall order from Admiral Ackbar. We're to rendevous with Home One.
So, according to the EU novels the Home One is a Command Cruiser.

Well, we worked out the differences now, and I got hold of the Scrapbook quote, from page 21:
"During the final stages of the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance leadership shifted from a secret land base to a mobile one. Under Admiral Ackbar's command, this spaceship served as Headquarters Frigate for the Alliance. Able to move through hyperspace and direct Rebel assault, the cruiser served as both a battleship and command post."

In the ROTJ canon Novel, Ackbars crusier is designated "The Headquarters Frigate"

Yeah, but that makes no sense, as either a designation or a name for the ship.
