It just came to me just how much the storyline of Luke with Akanah and the crap about the "Light" conflicts with the NT...jeez, doesn't GL keep tabs on the EU AT ALL?

Eh? Does it say that the whole angle is a hoax? It's been some time since I read the books but if it's a hoax, then it's good enough to fool Luke.

The whole trilogy was painful to read for me. Not only did it fuck up normal SW conventions, it didn't have the same feeling as Zahn's books did.

If you'll read the books, Akanah has NOTHING to do with his mother. She's lying through her teeth the whole time, and they explain that if you EVER get to the end of that story-arc.
