Yvonne Craig was Batgirl
That's her!! I thought I was getting the name wrong!!

I'd probably have cast my vote for Eartha Kitt if Julie Newmar hadn't gotten to me first. Newmar looks like she was sewn into her costume, but Kitt looks like hers was painted onto her body. Kitt certainly had the feline mannerisms down purrfectly, that lovely voice rolled over her dialogue like honey, and her skin tones only enhanced the effect of her character. But Julie got to me first; a tall slinky woman exuding sensuality out of every pore.

Plus, Newmar had one of the best lines in the whole TV series —when she proposes to Batman, arguing that as a reformed criminal and his wife she would be invaluable in his fight against crime, and when he inevitably asks about Robin, she delivers the perfect comeback: "Robin?! Oh, I know —we'll kill him." Her eager smile at that speaks volumes and was the best scene of that season.

Lee Merriwether played Catwoman in the 1966 feature film. At best, she was only a pale imitation of Julie Newmar, and she doesn't stack up to Eartha Kitt.

I'd vote but I don't recognize which catwoman is which for the mostpart. A list of who's who would help...

I'm gonna go with Pfeiffer, because being a youngin and all I'm not to familiar with the first three, and Hallie Berry is Hype personified, plus she looks like shit as Catwoman(Storm too, Storm could have been casted a hell of a lot better and I hope they replace her in X3 instead of just making a offhand comment as to where she is.

Michelle Pfeiffer did, indeed, do very well considering what she was given to work with (and calling what she was given to work with 'not much' would be a gross exageration), but the very Catwoman concept of that movie was an abomination. She has my sympathies but not my vote.
Damn. I'm beginning to venture to try to go within hailing distance of thinking about contemplating to try to attempt to remember more about that goddamn TV series...
Nevertheless, until Lady T is added to the poll I still abstain :P

'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'

'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

The new movie is just ripping off the name. Its not even set in any batman continuity.
