Spell Hack

Post by The Yosemite Bear »

Basically a certain Bard character of mine, living in the forgotten realms found a long lost gateway to a strange land. Instead of bringing dangerous stuff like thier "Flashpowder weapons" she brought back instrements, their version of crispy leaf, and many other cute things. Ok, she also brought back songs, and converted a laptop computer and a Fender Stratocaster to work off magical energy....

However the most innovative spell the Bard created was Spell Hack.

Simply take a spell, and at no level change you can alter the energy from Force, Fire, Cold, Necro-Black, Electrical, Necro-white, etc. for one level more in casting difficulty you can change the order of a spell from say charm to necromancy (Provided you have a proper channel), like read magic, and copy/erase it just works within the weave making adjustments, minor adjustments. It's basically exist for minor tricks like this. Yes there is a spell hack for higher level spells too.

Material Component sand (Strangely the bard is insistant that Silicon/Sand needs to be honored for this spell.), an offering of Tea, or Roasted Cherry seeds, ground and filtered with water (mmm, coffee)

The scariest folk song lyrics are "My Boy Grew up to be just like me" from cats in the cradle by Harry Chapin
